What Have You Done to You
Trampled a heart and two souls in but one stroke.
If you could just be a touch more mature in those very moments,
It'd have been rainbows and sunshine,
Yet now, are the dusk and the pale skies.
Your life was none but a veil of mist,
Driving the rays away, now bemoan the dark.
She, the sweet syrup to thy bitter draught,
Smear in your face now the dirt of guilt.
Round goes you in circles as you did on your faults
Stupid is you, couldn't take care of thy gift.
Aware are you that there won't be a blessing ever again.
Summon your senses, for she still waits
In the verandah longing for the old you-She deserved it not.
I stand at fault for what I wrought,
And shall bear the weights of my actions.
My girl, I love you, more than there are faults in my life.
Girl, I never meant to do any crap.
My existence, only bound by your presence.
Don't battle with thyself.
You're not alone. Push me not away,For all shall be well.
Don't go away, I beg,
For the dream we once saw, still awaits us.
Drained of myself, I apologise.
Come home, I long for you-
Please.
