"Interesting, damn interesting" Chadwick grinned.

"We should probably return her, that if she dies!" Omar said alarmingly, and that earned him a punch from Chadwick.

He fell beside Lizzy's body on the ground, bleeding from the lips.

"Talk to your damn brother, I might have to kill him at this rate" Chadwick sneered menacingly, getting himself a cigarette.

North squatted in front of Omar like a wicked stepmom, then she raised his chin with her pointer finger.

Omar began trembling.

"Remember what I told you in school earlier?" She whispered meanly.

"That...I should know my...my place" he stuttered.

"Keep doing that, else you'll be dead, and we both know father won't even ask for your corpse. You're as useless as that" she muttered, and he gulped.

"I'm...I'm sorry"

She stood afterwards, throwing another glance at Lizzy's who stopped foaming already

"Get her, we should get out before Emory gets here" she ordered.

Omar quickly carried Lizzy on his shoulder again, and they continued their journey.

Two minutes later, Emory came running like crazy, and when she got to the spot and saw footprints, she gasped, running forward.

Her eyes widened when she saw their car already zooming off.

She entered the middle of the road for a taxi, but none showed up for complete three minutes, so she rushed back to the main road to get a taxi.

She told the driver the only street in her mind, Levi's street.

She's not sure what she's gonna face or meet over there, but he's the only sure bet right now, and no matter how devilishly he behaves, she'd have to bring him out.

She can't even call Nina and Rebekah cos all these is her fault.

If she hadn't gotten mad at her dad and if she hadn't left the house, these would have been avoidable.

The taxi pulled up in front of Levi's place after fifteen more minutes, and she literally raced to the door.

This time, she knocked, and it was a woman who opened the door.

Despite the situation, Emory couldn't help but notice the heterochromia in her eyes, she's so beautiful.

Is she Levi's mum?

"How may i help?" The woman asked.

"I... I'm a friend of... Banks, from school" she replied awkwardly.

*Stop lying, you're far from friends...you dislike him remember?* A voice at the back of her mind told her, but she just had to shut it down.

"Really? This is like the most shocking news I've heard all year. I'm Kara, his uncle's wife" the woman smiled warmly.

"Nice to meet you, ma'am" Emory said awkwardly again.

"Are you ok? You look restless" Kara noticed.

"I'm in some kind of trouble, and I need Banks right now. Like now" Emory replied.

"Really? He went out with his friends not long ago. You should call him" Kara said.

"I wish I could do that but I lost all contacts, so if you could just give me his line..." Emory lied.

Lie number 2 tonight.

"Sure" Kara got her phone, and Emory took his line.

"Thanks ma'am" she turned to leave.
