Bree was at the movie theatre, getting people food, when David walks in, a big smile on his face. Bree smiles, as she tries not to laugh. She sees Alya look at the two of them, before rolling her eyes, saying that she'll cover for her. Bree laughs, going around to see David there with his hands folded. She says hi to him, asking what was wrong.

"So, Bree, do you have a date to the prom?" He asks, making Bree shake her head, smiling softly. "I don't either. So...I was gonna ask if you wanted to go with me?" He asks, making her smile and sigh.

"Of course I'll go with you, David." She takes a chance and kisses his cheek, saying goodbye to him. She didn't know why, but she got a warm feeling inside her when she did that, but it was probably just her excited for prom.

"I need to find something absolutely hip." Kelly says, as she throws a dress onto a chair, sighing. Brenda and Bree follow her as they throw more dresses on the chair. The three four had decided to go on Rodeo Drive for prom dress shopping, not finding anything yet.

"I need to find something fabulously sexy." Bree goes back inside to try on a dress. Donna was also tying on a dress. The two girls come out, just as they hear Kelly and Brenda going back and forth over the same dress that they picked out. Bree looks at Donna, seeing her in a red, big, flowy dress. It looked beautiful on her. Bree had on a dark blue, long spaghetti-strapped dress. It was flowy and Bree felt like a Disney princess in it. The two girls look at each other and squeal, before looking back at Brenda and Kelly. They go back to back in dramatic poses, giggling with each other.

"You girls look absolutely gorgeous!" Kelly exclaims, putting her dress on the chair.

"Bree, Brenda get your butts down here!" Dylan yells, making Bree come out of her room. She goes down the stairs, trying not to fall, because of how long her dress was. She walks down the stairs and sees everyone turn to look at her. She can feel her cheeks heat up as David's jaw drops, even from having a conversation with Kelly. He walks over and holds out his hand for her to take. She takes it and she gets to the floor, smiling up at him.

"Bree, you look so amazing!" Donna and Kelly squealed as they broke the staring contest she was having with David. She smiles at them, thanking them. She looks at Kelly's dress and her smile falls. Her mother, who had just walked into the room, and her smile falls as well. Before she can say anything, Brenda walks down the stairs.

"Oh my God." They turn to see her wearing the same dress as Kelly and they hear Kelly scoff.

"Brenda, how could you?" The two girls go into the kitchen to solve this, while Bree walks over to David, who was in the middle of a conversation with Dylan. Dylan leaves when he sees her walking, winking at the two of them. She smiles at him and sees him pull out a box from behind him.

"I-i got you something," He pulls out a corsage for her and she can feel her heart swell as he takes her left wrist, putting it gently on. She then grabs his boutonniere, putting it on his chest, making him smile at her as well. "Y-you look really nice tonight, Bree."

"Thanks David, you don't look so bad yourself." He rolls his eyes nudging her, the two with everlasting smiles on their faces.

"Okay, you beautiful people, let's get a picture now," Jim walks back into the room with Brenda and Kelly, who looked very annoyed. They line up, Bree behind her brother and Kelly. David puts his hands on her waist, making her feel a strange tingly feeling, but she pushes it away again.

David and Bree had their arms linked through each other's as they walked into the hall. People were already on the dance floor dancing, making the two best friends look at each other in excitement. This was a dance that they would remember. They see Kelly, Brandon, Donna, and Steve in front of them bickering about dancing, making them roll their eyes and push through, saying they were going to go dance. Dylan and Brenda were close behind as the four made their way to the dance floor. Suddenly, a slow dance comes on and David looks at her.

"Would you like to dance, milady?" She smiles and giggles, taking his hand and wrapping her arms around his neck. He wraps his arms around her waist, simply listening to the song. She looked up at him, watching as he stared down at her. He then steps on her foot by accident, making her let out a snort. "Sorry Bee, you're very distracting right now." He says, winking at her. She lets out a laugh, burying her face in his chest. He laughs as well, burying his face into her hair to try not to laugh louder.

"David, I think you just don't know how to dance," His cheeks heat up as he nods, making her swoon at his reaction. She places her hands on his shoulders, making him look at her. "Just follow my steps." He nods, watching as she tries to move away whenever he would accidentally step on her. Her smile and eagerness to help him made a smile come onto his face. Her smile made her look so innocent and happy that he couldn't help but smile with her.

"The votes are in, and you, the people of West Beverly High, have chosen," David was on the stage, about to read out who was prom queen. Bree was clapping for Kelly, hoping she won. "It is my great honour to announce this year's West Beverly High's Spring Queen. And the winner is...Kelly Taylor!" Bree and Donna, who were standing with each other, clapped happily for their best friend.

"That's our best friend!" The two yell simultaneously, laughing and cheering. Kelly goes to sit on the throne, sending a kiss towards their ways. David follows her, standing next to the throne.

"And now, in West Beverly tradition, the Spring Queen will now choose her king." David hands her an envelope and she opens it, smiling happily as she speaks into the microphone.

"Brad Phillips." Brad comes on the stage, takes the staff and kisses Kelly's cheek, sitting down. David goes back to the microphone, a big smile on his face.

"And now it's time to get down and noticed, because we're about to choose the couple with the slickest moves! The winning couple will receive a free large pizza with two toppings and two beverages of choice at Le Pizza in Beverly Hills and the honour for the last dance of the night with the Spring Queen and King." David then goes to whisper something to Kelly, before going down the stairs, grabbing Bree's hand.

Later on in the night, Bree had fallen asleep at the table with Donna next to her, struggling to fit her dress in the chair. She had sat down a while ago after seeing David with Kelly, dancing. It made her feel a bit sad, but she didn't do anything about it, just deciding that her feet were hurting. She feels someone tap on her shoulder, seeing David there with an outstretched hand.

"Can I get one last dance with my date for the night?" She sighs, sending him a tired smile and standing up. The two go on the dance floor, her arms going around his torso, with her hands holding onto his shoulders. His arms wrapped around her shoulders, pulling her in close. "I'm sorry I ditched you for Kelly." She sighs, shrugging.

"It's not the first time, nor is it the last." She muttered, making him frown. He didn't know that she felt that way. He used his hand to tilt up her chin, making her look up at him.

"I think that as I'm getting to know her better, I'm seeing that she's not the perfect Kelly Taylor I've painted her out to be." Bree laughs, shaking her head at his words.

"I think Scott and I have been trying to tell you this since the first day of school," David laughs, looking around. "Does this mean you're over her?"

"Not by a long shot." Bree rolls her eyes, sighing. She feels someone grab her hand and sees Brenda dragging her, Dylan, and David over to the rest of them. She sees Andrea with Brandon and she smiles, giving her a big hug, muttering that she looked beautiful.

"What's going on here?" Dylan asks, smiling at all of them.

"Nothing as wild as what was going on upstairs." Kelly teases, making Bree let out a whistle. She sees Brenda's cheeks light up, making Bree let out a squeal. They definitely did it.

"What was going on upstairs, anyway?" Brandon asks, going into protective brother mode.

"What are you talking about? We were here the whole time, dancing." Brenda said, rolling her eyes. Andrea and David laughed, liking their company.

"Guys, was it just me or was tonight one of the strangest nights of all time?" Brandon asks, making them all say definitely. Brenda looks at Dylan, who smirks.

"What can I say? Spring is in the air!" They all laugh, bringing each other in for a group hug.
