We walk out of the trailer, the morning light bathing the city in a soft, golden hue. I glance over at Walker, who's walking beside me, a relaxed smile on his face. The chill of the early morning air is refreshing, and it feels good to be out and about after our unexpected nap.
At the hotel, we find Aryan, Charlie, and Dior gathered in the lobby, enjoying breakfast and chatting. They look up as we enter, their faces lighting up with friendly smiles.
"Hey!" Aryan calls out, standing up. "You two are finally up! How was your night?"
Charlie grins. "Yeah, we were wondering if you'd slept through the whole day."
I laugh softly. "We actually had a pretty good rest. Thanks for asking. How's everyone?"
Dior gives us a warm smile. "We're all good. It's nice to see you both looking more relaxed."
Walker and I join them, and we all sit down for breakfast. The conversation flows easily, filled with laughter and lighthearted banter. It feels good to be surrounded by friends who genuinely care and understand.
After breakfast, we decide to take a break from the stress and explore the city. We visit some local landmarks, take a leisurely stroll through a nearby park, and indulge in some ice cream. The day is filled with easy conversation and genuine laughter, a welcome escape from the tension of the past few days.
As the sun starts to set, we head back to the hotel. Walker and I stop by the trailer to grab a few things before heading inside. The trailer, which had once felt like a place of stress, now feels comforting—a space where we can be ourselves.
"Hey, we should definitely hang out more," Walker says as we walk back to the hotel. "It's been really nice having you around."
I smile, feeling a sense of contentment. "I'd like that. It's been great spending time with you."
Walker grins. "It's a plan, then."
We part ways for the night, each heading to our respective rooms. As I prepare for bed, I reflect on the day's events with a renewed sense of hope. With the support of Walker, Dior, and the rest of the cast, I'm beginning to believe that things will get better. The friendships that have grown stronger are a source of comfort, and I'm optimistic about the brighter days ahead.
