Your Point of View

The rest of the evening was quiet and enjoyable, we had a nice simple dinner, watched a couple of action and horror movies before going to bed. Once the last movie ended, Pyrrah went back to the dorms, Kali and Blake started to clean up the drinks and snacks we had, and the rest of us got ready for bed.

I slid off of the couch and stretched my body, my tail swaying behind me before wandering around the manor for a little while. The rest of the house that we didn't use was cold, and still, compared of the parts that we do use is always warm and cozy. I peaked in one of the hallways that we didn't use to see a couple of doors, and one looked bigger than the others.

"I should go to sleep... But I have been sleep for most of the day, so it couldn't hurt snooping around some more.." I mumble to myself before walking down to the hallway.

I looked through the rooms to see that two of the three was just random rooms that was filled with furniture with cloths around them, and the last one, with the bigger doors is the one that I saved for last opening. I stood in font of it with my hands on my hips as I looked up. It's bigger than I thought, seems like this looks like an ancient temple door.

Well.. This is the perfect opportunity to see what is inside, no time like the present after all. I put both hands on either side of the double doors and push it open slightly, damn... this thing is heavy... I let out a slight groan as I pushed harder agents the door and it opened slightly.

I let out a loud and obnoxious groan as I fell back on my bottom, this thing is just too heavy for me to open. I let out a sigh as I rested on my back and held up my hands in front of my face. Maybe it's because I have all of my power stuck in this little body? Back then, in my original form I could easily move something like this.

But since there is no reason for me to use my full power in this day and age, it seems that I have grown weak? No that's impossible, well... maybe... it could be possible?

I let out a sigh as I sat up, well that is a shortcoming that is brought to my attention. But, there is no reason whining, or stressing about it now. I sealed most of my powers away for a reason, there is no use in breaking the seal for some silly door. I stood up and brushed the dust off of my onesie and looked back at the door that was still cracked open, just slightly.

I'll come back for you another time. I then turned my back to the door and walked away, down the hall, and turned the corner to the hallway that held all of our rooms. My room is at the end of the hall so it was a rather long walk. But once I was to my room, I realized that someone was in my room, the door was opened slightly, and the lights were on. And I don't remember keeping my door open when I went out, or turning on the lamp that is next to my bed.

I slowly and quietly opened my door all the way and walked inside cautiously. I looked around my room to see that nothing was taken, and everything was the same as I left it, but still. My ear twitched slightly as I heard footsteps coming out of my walking closet. I turned my attention towards the door, the fur of my tail stood up in anticipation.

I jumped slightly to hear the door open, I was ready for something to happen, but all I saw was Kali walking out of my closet with an empty hamper. I let out a sigh as my body immediately relaxed when I saw her.

Kali: "Sorry my love, did I scare you?" She asked.

"A little.." I say with a sigh as my tail fell in relaxation.

Kali: "Sorry about that, I was doing some laundry last minute."

I flop on top of my bed, which was still messy when I woke up.

Kali: "The rest of them is already asleep, and I didn't want to disturb them." Kali said with a slight chuckle as she set down the basket and sat on the edge of my bed.

"They all sleep like a pack of bears..." I mumble as I crawled over to her and lie down on her lap.

She let out a slight laugh as she pat my head, stroking my ears as we sat in a comfortable silence for a little while. I gripped her shirt as my body relaxed.

Kali: "Do you want me to stay with you tonight?" She asked me.

I nodded my head, "I do.. that seems nice..." I mumble as I nuzzled my head into her abdomen.

After another moment of petting my head she moved as she stood up. I rolled towards of the middle of the bed as she walked out with hamper in hand. I lie on my stomach while kicking my feet as I waited for her to come back. After a moment of waiting I slid off my bed and walked over to my bookshelf.

I scanned the bookshelf for something for me to read, I wanted to read something that I haven't read in a while, but, I've read all of them. I tilted my head to the side and I let out a slight groan, I gave out a frown as I slowly started to tilt my body to the side with my arms crossed my chest.

I ended up picking up one of my newer visual novels and tossed them on my bed, I then waddled back to the edge of my bed and fell face first. I then opened my book and began to read as I waited for Kali to come back.

It was about fifteen minutes until Kali came back, my ears twitched then I heard the door to my room open, I look up to see Kali in her night clothes, and a scarf around her shoulders. I let out a slight smile as I closed my book and put it on my nightstand.

Kali: "Did I disturb you of your reading?" She asked me as she closed the door to my room and waked over to the bed.

I shook my head, "No, I was just trying to kill some time before you came back." I say as I sit in the middle of the bed. My tail swaying behind me.

She gave me a warm smile as she sat on the edge of the bed and moved to the middle next to me.

Kali: "Well why don't we read a bit before going to bed?" She asked as she gently pushed my head down to her lap.

I immediately sighed and molded my body in relaxation and nodded.

"That... would be nice..." I mumbled.

And just like that, I was asleep.
