The morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a muted glow in Y/n's room, yet it did little to dispel the heavy atmosphere that enveloped her. The air felt thick with an unshakeable sense of melancholy, as if the very essence of the day conspired to mirror her inner turmoil. Y/n laid in bed, her thoughts swirling like the gray clouds outside, each one a reminder of the weight she carried. The distant sound of raindrops tapping against the window only deepened her sense of isolation, creating a rhythm that echoed her heartache. She could hear the world outside waking up, but it felt as though she was trapped in a different realm, one where joy and laughter were mere echoes of a past she could no longer reach.

through her haze her thought train was broken by the loud blaring of her phone alarm sounding. As she reluctantly rose from her bed, the chill of the morning air seeped into her bones, amplifying the sadness that clung to her like a second skin, groaning as she switched off her alarm. Y/n moved through her routine with a sense of detachment, each action performed as if on autopilot, devoid of the vibrancy that once characterized her mornings. The mirror reflected a girl who seemed lost, her eyes dull and lacking the spark they once held. She longed for the warmth of the sun to break through the clouds, to feel its rays on her skin and to chase away the shadows that loomed over her heart. Yet, as she gazed out at the dreary landscape, she understood that today would be another chapter in her story of sorrow, a reminder that some mornings are shrouded in gloom, leaving her to navigate the day with a heavy heart.

"hermana?.." a soft linger seeped through her wooden door, alerting her as she broke from her trance, her eyes now set on the door. contemplating to respond to the voice, she fumbled with the hem of her shirt and gently bit down on her plump bottom lip, her breathing shaking. "Hermana??" the voice spoke again, before the door cracked open, a quiet squeaking noise following pursuit. As the door opened completely, there stood her best friend, his facial composure seeming concerned "I wanted to apologise for last night" he stepped into her bedroom and glanced over at the tired looking girl infront of him. "its fine, Eddie. I was just being dramatic, I am sorry." Y/n sighed in defeat and rubbed her bare face, not exactly wanting to deal with this confrontation of last night, which Eddie was quick to realise.

"its not a big deal, I shouldn't have been so insensitive. I know how you get so, I should've handled it better." he muttered before walking up and picking up a book that sat peacefully on her vanity desk, reading the title. After not receiving a response from his friend, he decided to speak up again "we have a much smaller mission today. we gotta sell off the produce from yesterday." he looked up from the book and fixated his eyes on the girl who was gently brushing through her silk hair. "I don't know if I can go out today eds. yesterday was a lot for me." Y/n chewed on the inside of her cheek and sucked in a long breath "think just need a day to myself, if that's cool with you? you could take Cory?" she offered up in the most polite way, to which he responded respectfully and understandingly.

"oh-yeah of course that's okay. take all the time u need alright, ill be around when u need me" Eddie obliged by her wishes and turned on his heels, exiting the room as she thanked him and waved him off.

once the wooden door locked into the hinges, Y/n jumped back and back flopped onto her king sized bed, letting out an abrupt groan. she wished she didn't feel this way but it was just the inevitable. The thought of Gaege continued to linger and swallow the young woman's mind, his words replaying in her head like broken record "god, what's wrong with me?"

On a serene morning, Gaege found himself enjoying the peaceful ambiance of his surroundings as he spent time with his friend Grant. The soft rays of sunlight filtered through the window, casting a warm glow across the room, creating an inviting atmosphere that encouraged relaxation. The two friends engaged in light conversation, their voices barely rising above the gentle sounds of nature outside. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafted through the air, enhancing the sense of comfort and ease that enveloped them. Gaege appreciated the simplicity of the moment, relishing the opportunity to unwind and relax in company of grant.
