Theme Spooky Fantasy Shorts
For the month of October, we are all eyes and ears for the spookiest, most fantastic short stories in the orange world of Wattpad. Fright for Fantasyis a collection of tales where magic turns to the dark side, where the world's balance hangs between the living and the dead, and where the line between fantasy, paranormal, and horror blur.
Within this anthology, we want to encounter stories of enchantment and supernatural, elemental and occult. Tales that chill our bones or paint a hauntingly beautiful world. Our doors are open to the creatures of the night—ghosts, witches, nightwalkers. Usher us into a lore woven with tragedy, suspense, and intrigue.
So, turn out the lights, light a candle, pray to the ancient gods of old, and listen to the songs of ancient ghouls. The frightful fantasy begins now!
Suggested Subgenres Paranormal Fantasy, Dark Fantasy, Grimdark, Gothic Fantasy Note: Other subgenres can be present as long as the story fits the theme.
