•THIRD POINT OF VIEW•"Dad," she murmured weakly against Roman's chest, her voice barely a whisper, but it was enough to freeze the chaos around them.
Kirril stood nearby, his heart torn between wanting to take his sister from Roman's arms and knowing that his overprotectiveness would only make things worse right now. He clenched his fists, watching Ciya with a whirlwind of emotions in his eyes-fear, love, guilt.
Roman, though steady, softened his voice as he spoke to her. "He'll be alright, Ciya. Let's get you outside."
Ciya stirred, confusion clouding her mind. How did this man know her name? And why did she feel so safe in his arms, like she'd known him forever? She felt warmth, a strange sense of security, yet her instincts screamed to resist. She tried to push herself away from him, her words barely audible.
"I won't leave without him," she whispered, her voice shaky but firm.
Roman, sensing her distress, slowly loosened his grip but still didn't let her go. He wasn't about to let her fall, not now.
David, watching from across the room, narrowed his eyes at the unfamiliar men surrounding his daughter. He was about to charge toward them, ready to protect her at all costs, until a familiar voice stopped him in his tracks.
"Don't worry, she's in safe hands," said Ivan, stepping into the scene with a calm yet urgent presence.
David's gaze snapped toward Ivan, and recognition dawned. It was him. Relief mixed with lingering doubt, but there was no time for questions.
Suddenly, a thick, white gas began to fill the room, swirling around them like an eerie fog. Bi had already appeared, her sharp eyes locking onto Ciya.
"Bi... Dad..." Ciya's voice was barely a breath as she saw her, instinctively reaching for her. Roman, sensing her discomfort, let her slip out of his arms, though a strange pang of regret hit him. He understood, though-it wasn't about him. She needed Bi now.
Before Ciya could collapse, Bi caught her, holding her steady. Roman, though unsettled, felt a strange relief knowing Bi was there to protect her.
"Ciya, we have two minutes before everything goes white. We need to leave, or we'll be trapped," Bi said with urgency, her eyes scanning the increasingly disorienting scene.
David hesitated, his eyes darting between Ciya and the chaos, unsure if he could trust Ivan's reassurance. But his instincts kicked in.
"Ciya, go with them! I'll catch up, I promise," he shouted, swiftly kicking one of the men blocking his path.
"Come quick, Ivan she needs medication!" Kirril's voice rang out over the commotion, desperate and sharp.
Ivian snapped out of his momentary panic, moving with purpose as he dodged bullets and chaos. He rushed to Ciya, now held by Bi, and immediately checked her pulse. His expression turned serious.
"She's panicking, on the verge of fainting. We need to get her out, fast," Ivian said, his voice steady but filled with urgency.
Bi didn't need to hear more. Without hesitation, she began dragging Ciya toward the door, her grip firm and unwavering. Ciya resisted, weakly pushing against her.
