• THIRD POINT OF VIEW •The Romanov brothers, having spent the night in rooms adjacent to the medical room, hadn't gotten a wink of sleep. Their minds were filled with questions-what had happened to Ciya, how she had ended up with David, and how she would react when she learned about her family. Despite their restlessness, they felt a small comfort knowing their baby sister had finally been found.
The next morning, Ciya woke to see her father sitting on the sofa. He had refused any offer to stay in the guest room, choosing instead to remain near her all night.
"Good morning, angel," David greeted her with a warm smile.
"Good morning, Dad," she replied, still half-asleep.
"How are you feeling today?" he asked, concern lacing his voice.
"Better," she murmured softly.
"Go on, freshen up. You need to have breakfast and take your medicine," David said gently.
Ciya nodded and headed to the bathroom to get ready. As she prepared herself for the day, David quietly left the room and made his way to the living room, where the Romanov brothers were already gathered.
"How is she?" Ivian asked, his voice carrying a mix of worry and hope.
"She feels better. She'll be downstairs soon," David replied.
The brothers nodded in acknowledgment, a sense of relief easing their tense expressions.
"Come, have a seat, David," Ray offered, motioning towards the dining area.
David took a seat at the dining hall table, noticing the maids preparing breakfast. One of them offered him a cup of coffee, which he gratefully accepted.
"Thank you," David said, his mind still preoccupied with Ciya.
Their attention was drawn to the staircase as Ciya appeared, descending in a comfortable long white pajama set-something Ray had ordered one of the maids to place in her room. The staff couldn't help but steal glances at her, clearly aware of her importance.
"You can sit anywhere, princess," Kirril said warmly, his voice soft with affection.
Ciya nodded shyly as the maids quickly began placing a variety of dishes on the dining table-each of them her favorite foods. She felt a bit overwhelmed by the attention but appreciated the effort.
"Thank you, you may go now," Ray said to the staff, dismissing them politely.
"Princess, David, feel free to start your breakfast," Ray added, encouraging them.
As they all started eating, the brothers kept stealing glances at Ciya, observing her quietly. After breakfast, they moved to the hall, settling on the sofas for a more serious discussion. The atmosphere grew heavier as they prepared to finally talk about the truths that had been kept hidden for so long.
• CIYA •
As I sat on the sofa with Dad, I glanced at the men sitting in front of us. They were quiet, but their eyes were speaking a thousand words. It felt like they were each fighting some internal battle, struggling with something they needed to say. The tension was thick, and I could sense the weight of their stares on me.
