Ch.6

3rd Person POV:

It was early in the morning, the birds just barely starting to open their eyes and wake up. The dark, and quiet night barely starting to be illuminated by the sunrise.

Sun's eyes fluttered open, the sound of the early morning fading in as his systems started to boot up. He groaned a bit as he heard buzzing from his phone.

Sun would have much preferred staying in bed. After all, he was laying in bed in the most comfortable position imaginable. But unluckily for him, Sun's drowsiness had started to fade, allowing his senses to come back to him and the sounds around him to get overwhelmingly louder than before.

With a groan, Sun slipped out of Foxy's arms and sat up in bed. He looked back at Foxy, watching him sleep for a moment longer than he should've before the realization that he had stayed the night and fallen asleep next to Foxy hit him.

That brought up a question, what time is it and how was he going to explain where the hell he was to Earth and Lunar?

But to both his relief and fear, his phone started to buzz in his pocket all over again. Well, it wasn't exactly buzzing, it was full-on vibrating because of the messages and phone calls he had been getting this morning.

Sun stuffed his hands in his pockets, trying to search for his phone before he was able to find it and pull it out. Sun stared at the screen for a moment or two, his eyes trying to refocus on the bright screen in front of him. Once they did though, Shn realized he wouldve preferred just ignoring the buzzing until he got to the daycare.

Both Moon and Earth were calling him while Lunar was sending him loads of messages, more messages than he had ever expected to receive in such a small amount of time.

Sun thought for a moment, trying to decided who he was gonna answer to first. If Moon was calling him this early in the morningand much more than once, that meant he was probably very concerned and or upset.

If Earth was calling him this early in the morning, she was probably wondering where he was and if he was alright. Sun was almost always the first one at the daycare after all.

If Lunar was calling him this early in the morning it was something related to the daycare or he had been woken up by Earth freaking out about where Sun was.

And If they were all calling him and texting him at 7:14 in the morning..

Well... shit.

Sun decided to answer Earth first, finding that she was probably the calmest and or easiest to talk to right now since Moon was probably worried shitless and Lunar was probably woken up by Moon and either really worried or very groggy.

"Uhm- Hello?" Sun nervously greeted as he answered Earth's call instead of letting it ring again.

"SUN?! Where are you?! You're 2 hours late and- are you okay?? Where are you?" Earth yelled into the phone, the mic cutting out in the middle of her worried stammering because of how loud she was over the phone.
"You didn't show up at the daycare- are you safe? Is everything alright? Are you in danger? Dazzle's worried sick, she's crying and-"
