3rd person POV:
Sun had been working on a plan to stop his now-insane-brother, Moon. It had been a while since Sun and Earth had gone talk with Moon and boy did it mess with Sun. He had been stimming non-stop ever since, glancing up and constantly asking the computer if Moon was near or if he was coming.
Jack and the computer made a fair amount of effort to reassure Sun that if Moon was coming, Jack would defend him if needed and the computer would warn Sun the minute Moons code was detected. But alas, the reassuring minimally worked and by the time Sun hit the 2 hour mark of supposedly "work time", Sun had made the computer delete Moon's authorization, ability to make new commands, get rid of old commands, and basically remove everything that Moon had power or control over and made sure to make a copy of everything important that Moon had in his stack of papers.
"...ꜱᴜɴ?" Jack asked, attempting to get Sun's attention. Sun had looked up, shifting his body over in the rock-hard chair and cocked his head to the side. He looked over at Jack who was standing beside a jail cell, waiting for Sun to make it clear he was being paid attention to.
Jack pointed at a digital clock that Sun had previously set up some time ago to keep track of time, an awkward look on his face as he tapped his foot. A surprised look flashed over Sun's face as he quickly realized how lost in his thoughts he had gotten.
The digital clock read "12:36". Sun was supposed to be done sketching out ideas and figuring out how to read blueprints ages ago, and it isn't like it was hard either, Jack and the computer had been explaining it all to him whenever he needed help.
Sun let a sigh slip out his mouth as the truth dawned on him. He had let his thoughts distract him for over an hour and he didn't even realize it. The chair slid out from the table as Sun got ready to head out, trying to appear okay-ish by flashing a smile over to Jack.
"WARNING: Moon is approaching." The computer barked, startling both Jack and Sun as they were exchanging ideas on how to handle all the paperwork tomorrow.
In a panicked manner, Sun shoved all of his blueprints and work into his bag as well as something Moon had left behind earlier that day when he oh-so rudely shoved Sun out the way while leaving parts-&-services / P&S. Looking around in a frantic manner, he paced around the room, trying to think of what to do before he was caught by Moon which would just put him in a whole lot of new trouble that the family did NOT need.
"COMPUTER!" Sun suddenly whisper yelled, an idea popping into his mind. He raced over, messily putting in an address into the portal before stepping in, waving goodbye to Jack as reality bended and warped around him.
Foxy's house.
Sun was soon dropped onto the bridge near Foxy's house by the portal. As the portal closed, Sun looked around in a dazed manner. He had overheard Moon and Monty talking about this address, but he didn't exactly know where it actually was since Moon had either just sent him places or he just stayed home. Talking about home, the whole reason why he didn't go "home" was because he was scared Moon would go there next, and he never ever EVER wanted to see Moon without a plan for now.
Sun stumbled over to the cabin / house, his clothes ragged, dirty and wrinkled. He looked around the front door, trying to find any clues to find out where he had fleed to with only 2 seconds of thinking behind said decision. As Sun looked for clues, it really didn't take long for Sun to find low-quality drawings of what seemed FC and Foxy together.
"Foxy's place?-" Sun asked himself, pausing for a moment to let that sink in. "...Is he even home? What if he isn't home and I'm stuck here?" He soon continued, slowly getting more and more anxious.
Alas, he shook his head and rang the doorbell, ignoring the voices in his head telling him not to and how embarrassing it would be to find out Foxy wasn't home- or worse- if it wasn't even Foxy who lived here at all.
"Sun?" Foxy asked, both confused but also concerned about the fact that Sun wasn't reacting.
"Huh-?!" Sun exclaimed, jumping a bit as he came back to reality. The two made eye contact for a few seconds, neither of them knowing what to say. "Hey, Sun. Why- What are you doing here? What's up?" Foxy asked, trying to make this less awkward.
Sun glanced beside him, feeling his face burn red as embarrassment crawled into him. He started to notice how weird it was for him to show up completely uninvited, but there really was no going back, especially with how nice Foxy was going about this. "Oh- uhm- I was wondering if I could uh, stay here for the night?-" Sun asked, panicking a bit to word his thoughts.
"Oh, sure. What happened though? I thought you had a house." Foxy said, trying to joke a bit as he stepped aside to let Sun in.
"Oh, well yeah- but uh- Moon went a little nuts and I don't really feel safe going home-" Sun said, laughing nervously as he wiped his feet on the doormat before stepping in.
"Oh shoot. You alright?" Foxy asked, closing the door behind Sun and leading him into the kitchen. "Oh, yeah I'm fine! Don't worry about me!" Sun said, waving it off and not wanting Foxy to worry about him since there was probably enough going on with Foxy's life.
"I'm glad you're okay. You hungry? We got some leftover chicken if you want that." Foxy offered, though Sun quickly shook his head no and politely declined his offer.
The duo soon moved to the living room where they both sat down on the couch, talking and joking with each other.
"How's FC?" Sun asked, genuinely curious. "Kids' alright, he's learnin' how to control his star power." Foxy answered, leaning back on the couch as he smiled, seemingly proud of the fact FC was getting better at not being a so-called "threat".
"That's wonderful! I'm glad the little guy is learning how to control his star power!" Sun said cheerfully, earning a smile and hum of agreement from Foxy.
"Hey uhm- how about you give me your phone number? So like- we- I could text you if this happens again?" Sun asked, hoping Foxy agreed. "If what happens?" Foxy asked, pulling out his phone. "If I have to find somewhere to stay for the night." Sun answered, pulling his phone out. Foxy nodded, agreeing.
As the two exchanged numbers, FC had woken up and had gone looking for Foxy. Sun smiled as he witnessed Foxy and FC having a father and son moment, a warm feeling growing in his chest as he saw how sweet it was and how much Foxy tried to be a good dad. He soon laid down onto the couch, soon being brought a blanket from Foxy patted as Sun slipped into resting mode.
Then they all went to sleep >.<
