"Go," the same voice, still as cold as ice, as sharp as knife. Her echoing voice in that dark room absorbed the existing oxygen in that room. "I said go away."

Ryu Sunjae froze. His eyes were fixated on the floor. There was an imaginary heavy stone chained in both of his legs, preventing him to make any move. Something choke him on his throat, he couldn't barely answer. His lung fought for some air, suffocated.

The sky blue curtain of the hospital ward that separated them felt like a great wall that impossible for him to break through. Fear and guilt crept in, snowballing in every few seconds, dispersed in his vein running through all of his body.

"I knew you," still as cold, she continued. "I knew who you are."

An invincible arrow stabbed him right in the chest, created a big wound without bleeding.

"Why did you save me?" with a strong force, the curtain was abruptly opened before him. They finally met, face to face. The eyes that were once so loving and warm, now starred at him with a very determined hate and revenge. "Give me back my legs."

A sudden ambush of fear and guilt felt like a shotgun right in the vital part of his chest. He wasn't bleed, but perhaps dying would be better, he thought.

Suddenly, he abruptly woke up. His eyes opened, his breath pounded violently. The girl had vanished, replaced by white ceiling of his room.

It's that nightmare again.

The vividness of the nightmare had often confused him to what's real and what's not. The fear refused to subsided, everything felt so intense. He never think he would need a fresh air as much as he is now. He straightened up his body, looking around.

Absentmindedly, he jumped from his bed, put on his slipper. He wasn't so sure where he was heading to. Maybe all he needed wasn't just a mere fresh air. He needed a safe place, instead. He let his instinct guided him.

It was almost three in the morning. He walked, passed the quiet corridors, nothing much to do in the hospital that this hour. He caught a glimpse of standby nurses who sleepily greeted him, he had no energy to greet them back.

Subconsciously, his body bad brought him to a wooden door with a familiar room tag.

Room 3-14.

Without knocking, he carefully opened the knob. The room was dim and cold. The patients were in their deep slumber. He kept walking, reaching the bed in the corner.

Then, he found her. Either the moonlight of the light from building outside seeped through the window, exposing her beautiful sleeping face. His eyes was glued to her, gently, he approached her. He was grateful she was sleeping – as coming close to her was never been this easy.

The sight of her was the cure to any misery he is currently having. It felt so right, everything seemed like finally fell into its actual place.

Minutes passed by, the fear and guilt subsided gradually. His pounding heart eased into a steady rhythm. The blood in his vein flowed normally again, he found his breath coming back.

As it should be.

Sunjae learned every detail of the feature on her face religiously. He wouldn't blink, refused to waste every second in that precious moment. Admiring her soft and delicate figure, her radiant warmth, with a wishful thinking if he could embrace her and never let her go. If only he could spend the rest of his life with this woman—nothing more would he wish for.

Dear God, have I told you how much I love this woman?

And to love her is an understatement. But what's bigger word than love, then?
