No one's pov:

One day rengokub got a call that master wanted to give them a new mission and they were in front of ubuyashiki kneeling
"Yes master" rengoku said "my child your new mission is you have to investigate the Mugen train" (idk how to spell it)

"Yes master"

When they arrived they started to look around and rengoku finally found the train

[TIME SKIP!]

Tanjirou was sitting next to rengoku as zenitsu and inosuke was sitting together in another and a few minutes later all of them fell asleep even though and in the other part of the train in front of them a hand was talking to four kids "go ahead do it and when you achieve your goal I will give you your dreams" the hand said and The kids went to compete their mission

[TIME SKIP TO THE FIGHT]

Rengoku was fighting the second ranked demon and tanjirou and inosuke was about to step in then rengoku shouted "don't come near!" That's all he can manage to see while fighting his sword clanging against the hard skin of the demon and a few minutes go by and the demon was about to punch rengoku and succeeded and punched a hole in his stomach but rengoku kept the demon in his place as the sun rose up then the demon broke free and Catherine appeared out of nowhere and looked at rengoku on the ground with a hole in his stomach and Catherine reach her hand out "this is gonna hurt" Catherine said and rengoku nods then Catherine turned to inosuke and tanjirou "you should look away" "what are you talking abou-" tanjirou got cut off by rengoku screaming his lungs out as Catherine fixes up his big wound and tanjirou and inosuke could he the veins and other stuff coming back together and after a while Catherine was done and rengoku tapped his stomach and it was bare skin but the part where he got punched on his uniform it was ripped so he had to get it replaced "how does it feel?" Catherine said kneeling down to rengoku's level "hurts" "yeah it will for a few more hours" Catherine said standing up "let's head back" Catherine said and they head back and when they made it to rengoku's mansion he changed into comfy clothes and laid down "your gonna have to rest for a few weeks I'm gonna inform master about your situation" Catherine said sitting next to him and so did tanjirou and inosuke "okay" rengoku said feeling a little better "we will leave you be" Catherine said walking out and so did inosuke but tanjirou stayed and tears was in his eyes "kamado boy..why are you crying?" Rengoku said looking at the crying tanjirou "you looked like you were in so much pain..a-and you got punched in the stomach..I'm sorry..I was just so worried..." Tanjirou said wiping his tears away but rengoku still had his bright smile on his face "don't worry kamado boy I am fine and I will get well soon" rengoku said trying to reassure the boy "y-yes...I will let you rest now" tanjirou said standing up and walking out
