Ritika surged to her feet, her eyes blazing with a fierce intensity as she confronted Dr. Bella. She grasped the doctor's hands with a desperate urgency, her veins throbbing with a potent mix of anguish and frustration.

Ritika : I implore you, Doctor...(her voice trembling with emotion)...reveal the entire thing.. Didn't you heed my words? I beg of you..

Dr. Bella rose from her seat, her expression a mask of somber concern. She placed a comforting hand on Ritika's shoulder, her voice laced with empathy.

Doc : Mrs. Sharma, I'm deeply distressed to inform you that your kidney function has deteriorated to a critical level  a staggering 90% failure..

Ritika's face contorted in anguish...her eyes welling up with tears. She felt like her world was crumbling around her.....

Ritika collapsed onto the floor with a deafening thud, her body wracked with uncontrollable sobs. Tears streamed down her face like a torrent...her anguish echoing through the room.

Dr. Bella moved towards her side....gently coaxing her into a chair.

Doc : Please, Mrs. Sharma, compose yourself...( she urged, her voice laced with compassion)...I know it is going to be hard for you but..it's already too late so I have to confront this with you....

Ritika 's eyes got widened she glared at her with her red blooded eyes.

Doc : So the thing is...your kidney transplant is imperative, and any delay could prove fatal. I'm afraid we have no choice but to consider terminating your pregnancy...you have to do abortion...

Ritika's world shattered like fragile glass. She felt as though she'd been punched in the gut, her breath knocked out of her. Her hand instinctively cradled her belly, as if shielding her unborn child from the cruel words.

Ritika : Abort.. (she whispered),
(her voice trembling with horror)....How dare you even suggest such a thing?.....You're talking about my child, my flesh and blood.... I won't let you take that away from me.

Doc : I understand your distress, Mrs. Sharma, but we have not any other option left...

Ritika : (in a low and shattered tone her eyes filled with tears)I don't care if this would be the last option or what...
This is my Rohit's blood and I can't do this noo..(she whispered).

Doc : I can't do anything.. please you have to co-operate...we can't do your kidney transplant before pregnancy..and 9 months is a enormous period..we can't wait that much...
Sorry to say but in your condition you won't be able to survive that much longer...
Here's your reports you can came back in couple of days after accepting the fact...so that we can start further proceedings.

Ritika's gaze fell, her shoulders slumping in defeat, as if the weight of her circumstances had finally crushed her. Her eyes, once bright with hope, now dimmed like a candle flickering in the wind. The spark within her seemed to fade, leaving only a dull emptiness.

Her head bowed, her chin almost touching her chest, as if she couldn't bear the burden of her reality. The silence was oppressive, punctuated only by the soft beeping of machines and the quiet sobs that escaped her lips.

In that moment, Ritika felt like she was drowning in a sea of despair, with no lifeline in sight. Her heart, once full of determination, now felt heavy, weighed down by the impossible choice she faced. The world around her seemed to darken, as if the shadows themselves were closing in on her.

And yet, even in the depths of her despair, a spark within her refused to die..... A spark that fueled her determination to fight, to find a way out of this impossible situation. But for now, it remained a small, flickering flame...threatened by the overwhelming darkness that surrounded her.
