Taehyung stopped in front of y/n making everyone shocked while Jungkook narrowed his eyes and a flicker of something else glistened on his face. Y/n was also in shock as he cupped her face.
"My princess looks cute today."
Taehyung said with a grin while other girls made disgusting faces probably jealous of the attention y/n got.
"You must be Jungkook's sister, right?"
Taehyung said as Jimin sighed and Jungkook looked away in annoyance. He hated her for being his step-sister. It was almost like he didn't like being called her brother. Y/n nodded reluctantly. Only she better knew what was she in Jungkook's eyes and how much he respected her! A reluctant scoff escaped Jungkook's mouth as Taehyung asked further things.
"I have seen you in the wedding. Why are that quite? Are you unwell? You look pale."
Y/n had no answers for these questions. How could she tell anyone about her inner turmoil and about how she manage to survive in the mansion she lived? She just lowered her head and let go off her cheeks reluctantly. A hint of sadness and curiosity flashed across Taehyung's face. Jungkook stepped in between them.
"Hyung, actually she is socially anxious. She use to spend time alone. Let's not bombard her with further questions."
Jungkook said cheerfully but Taehyung wasn't impressed with whatever he said. Y/n looked at Jungkook's direction knowing he was true. He knew why she didn't like meeting people while her own mother was unaware of her physical and mental well-being. At least someone knew a little bit about her. She sighed thinking how much of an unimportant thing she was. Everyone rejoiced as Jimin announced to cut the cake first.
Y/n was standing at a distance in the gathering as Jimin cut the cake while Jungkook and Taehyung was either side of him.
"Happy Birthday Mochi!!!!"
Everyone shouted in unison. "May you be short forever." Jungkook said with a chuckle while everyone burst into laughter including y/n. Jimin hit Jungkook's shoulder with the back of his hand in annoyance. Taehyung chuckled and Jungkook annoyed Jimin more. Jimin feed the cake to Taehyung and it was time to feed Jungkook. Jungkook opened his mouth in hope of eating the cake while Jimin backed off his hand.
