As the Yule Ball approached, Draco Malfoy and Cera Snape decided to venture into Diagon Alley to prepare for the event. With Draco's family wealth, the shopping trip promised to be a lavish experience, and he was eager to make it memorable for both of them.
On a crisp, clear day, Draco and Cera walked down Diagon Alley, the bustling streets filled with witches and wizards busy with their own pre-ball preparations. Draco, in his usual impeccably tailored robes, guided Cera through the various shops.
Their first stop was the renowned dress shop, **Madam Malkin’s Robes for All Occasions**. The shop was filled with luxurious fabrics and elegant designs. Draco, ever the gentleman, opened the door for Cera.
“Ladies first,” he said with a charming smile.
Cera stepped inside, her eyes widening at the array of stunning gowns. A sales assistant approached them immediately, her eyes gleaming with recognition of Draco’s status.
“Mr. Malfoy! Miss Snape! How can I assist you today?”
Draco turned to Cera. “Shall we start by picking out your gown?”
Cera nodded, her excitement palpable. “I’d love that.”
Draco watched as Cera selected a few gowns to try on. She chose a beautiful deep blue gown with intricate silver embroidery. As she emerged from the fitting room, Draco’s eyes widened in admiration.
“That’s stunning, Cera,” he said, his voice filled with genuine awe.
Cera twirled in the gown, smiling. “I’m glad you think so. It feels like something out of a fairy tale.”
Draco approached, admiring the way the gown complemented Cera’s features. “It suits you perfectly. Let’s go ahead and get it.”
With the gown selected, Draco and Cera continued their shopping. Next, they visited **Florian Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlor** for a sweet treat, enjoying the playful atmosphere and each other’s company.
As they strolled through Diagon Alley, Draco led Cera to **Borgin and Burkes**, a shop in Knockturn Alley known for its unique accessories and magical curiosities. Although the shop was dark and somewhat intimidating, Draco knew Cera would appreciate its distinctive charm.
Inside, Draco selected a delicate silver necklace with a sapphire pendant that perfectly matched Cera’s gown. He presented it to her with a shy smile. “I thought this would go well with your dress.”
Cera’s eyes sparkled with appreciation. “It’s beautiful, Draco. Thank you.”
They left the shop and continued their day, their next stop being **Quality Quidditch Supplies**, where Draco picked up a few items to ensure he looked dashing in his formal wear, all while Cera marveled at the various Quidditch equipment and memorabilia.
By the time they finished their shopping, they were both laden with bags but in high spirits. The day had been filled with laughter, shared moments, and a growing sense of excitement for the Yule Ball.
As they made their way back to the Leaky Cauldron to return to Hogwarts, Draco glanced at Cera and took her hand. “This has been a perfect day. I can’t wait for the ball.”
Cera squeezed his hand, her smile warm and genuine. “Neither can I, Draco. Thank you for making this so special.”
With their shopping completed and their anticipation building, Draco and Cera looked forward to the Yule Ball with eager hearts, ready to enjoy the magic of the evening together.
