Gryffindor Common Room -

The fire crackled in the hearth as the group sat in a circle, their previous game of truth or dare having ended on a tense note. Harry had returned after cooling off, and Hermione, ever the mediator, suggested they play something less confrontational.

Hermione: "Let's play 'Two Truths and a Lie.' It's easy. You tell two truths about yourself and one lie, and the others have to guess which is the lie."

Ron: (grinning) "Sounds fun. I'm in."

Draco leaned back into the couch beside Cera, his arm casually draped behind her, but his eyes flickered toward Harry with a familiar smirk. Harry, sitting across from them, clearly wasn't thrilled about Draco's presence, but he decided to play along.

Harry: (dryly) "Fine. Let's get on with it."

Cera: (smiling) "I'll go first."

She thought for a moment, glancing around the circle.

Cera: "Alright. Two truths and a lie..."

She raised her hand, counting off her fingers.

Cera: "One: I once flew a broomstick through the Forbidden Forest at midnight. Two: I've never failed a single potion exam. Three: I've been secretly learning how to speak Parseltongue."

Hermione's brow furrowed as she considered the options, while Ron's face twisted in confusion.

Ron: "Wait... Parseltongue? That can't be right."

Hermione: (nodding) "It's either that or the potion exam. I've seen her struggle in Snape's class before."

Harry, however, was watching Cera closely, his mind racing. Despite their history, he knew her well, and something about her expression told him she wasn't bluffing about the Parseltongue.

Harry: "The broomstick in the Forbidden Forest is the lie. You'd never do something that reckless."

Cera smirked, shaking her head.

Cera: "Wrong, Harry. That one's true. I took the broomstick through the forest in second year. I didn't get caught, though."

Ron's eyes widened. "What? How did we not know about this?"

Cera: (grinning) "I have my ways."

She turned to Harry with a softer look. "The lie is about the potion exam. I did fail once, but only because Draco distracted me."

Draco chuckled, nudging her lightly. "Guilty."

Harry frowned but said nothing, clearly caught off guard. Draco shot him a triumphant look before speaking up.

Draco: "My turn, then. Let's see if you can figure me out."

He smirked, his eyes glinting with mischief as he listed his three statements.

Draco: "One: I've never lost a duel. Two: I once saved a Muggle's life. Three: I've cheated on a Hogwarts exam."

Cera glanced at him, knowing that this was Draco's way of throwing in something to make the game interesting, especially with Harry sitting there. She narrowed her eyes in thought.
