Chiquita excused herself, and walked out of the dorms after they got back from their meeting with their PD.
Ahyeon, noticing how Chiquita was acting, decided to give her some space.
As she walked around in the nearby park, thought about all the things they went through to debut.
They had to go through a whole programme, had to work twice as hard, train for years before their dreams finally came true.
"The hard work was for nothing, huh?" Chiquita mumbled to herself. Her eyes were glossy as she looked at the view of the park. The flowers were all blooming, even at night, it seemed unreal.
The night sky with the stars made Chiquita feel better. Way calmer. She laid down on some grass, and stared up at the starry sky. She sighed.
"How are you feeling?" she suddenly heard from behind her.
She sat up and turned around to see Ahyeon standing there, smiling softly and sadly. Chiquita smiled before turning back to the view.
"Just... fine," she answered. Ahyeon sighed and sat next to her.
"Are you sure?" Ahyeon asked, turning to Chiquita.
Chiquita suddenly felt like crying. She wanted to let her feelings out, but she didn't want to let that part of her out yet.
"Yeah," Chiquita mumbled, looking down at her lap.
"Canny, you know you can tell me basically anything, right?" Ahyeon asked, turning her body to Chiquita completely.
Chiquita felt the tears coming. So, she just let it happen.
"I-I don't want to disband," she sobbed.
Ahyeon quickly pulled her into a hug. A lot of 'don't worry's and 'it's okay's could be heard from the two.
"We'll figure this out together, hm?" Ahyeon said, ruffling Chiquita's hair.
"Mhm," Chiquita mumbled again. Ahyeon let go of Chiquita so that she looked at her.
"We'll be fine, Canny. I won't let anything happen. We'll do everything we can to stay as a group, okay?" Ahyeon said, making eye contact with Chiquita.
Chiquita nodded, feeling a sense of relief.
"I love you, unnie," she said, smiling into their hug.
Ahyeon also smiled.
"I love you more, Canny."
