Me and Papyrus kept walking, it seemed that everyone stayed at the house. I wonder why. I suppose they just let us go and are doing something back there.
We held hands and I kept staring at him, definitely totally not madly in love.
"YOU KNOW, CORIN, I CAN FLY!!!" Papyrus said out of nowhere.
"You what!?" I exclaimed, not expecting that.
"I CAN FLY!!" Papyrus stated again.
"Since.. when?"
"AS FAR AS I CAN REMEMBER, SEE!!!" Papyrus then started literally defying gravity, letting go of my hand as he rose ten, twenty, thirty feet into the air.
"OH MY GOLLY!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?!" I yelled up to him, very confused.
"FLYING, OBVIOUSLY!!!" Papyrus shouted back before descending to the ground again.
"Where on earth did that come from!?" I asked him.
"OH, I JUST THOUGHT YOU SHOULD SEE!! IT'S A NEAT LITTLE ABILITY I HAVE!!" Papyrus explained to me.
"You... can fly. Oh yeah.. you're magic."
"YES? THAT HASN'T CHANGED, YOU KNOW!! IF I WASN'T MAGIC, I WOULDN'T EXIST!! THEN WE'D BOTH BE VERY SAD AND I DON'T WANT THAT FOR YOU!"
"Yeah, that makes sense." I hugged him very tightly, not wanting to let go ever.
"THIS IS NICE BUT UHH... IF WE'RE GOING TO GET LUNCH, YOU SHOULD PROBABLY LET GO, CORIN!!"
"Right, sorry Paps.." I hesitantly let go and held tightly onto his hand again as we strolled through Snowdin forest, past all of Papyrus's epic puzzles! (My favourite is the one shaped like his face, obviously).
"Hey Papyrus, when we come back after lunch, we should go to where you built your snow self so I can build one of me!" I told him, happily, grinning like an absolute weirdo. (Because that's what I am)
"YES!! THAT'S A GENIUS IDEA!!" He picked me up and hugged me excitedly, spinning around a little.
"WHY DIDN'T WE THINK OF THAT BEFORE?" Papyrus asked aloud.
"No idea but it's a perfect plan. I love you and it's like a date! Kind of. I mean, it is just us." I said, blushing slightly as I said the last part. Despite me and Papyrus being together for a while, I still wasn't used to all the.. dating terms.
"SO.. DO YOU THINK WE'RE ALMOST THERE!?" My one true love questioned me.
As we had just finished walking past the invisible electricity maze, I was sure it couldn't be too far left to go.
"Maybe? We just have to look for the massive purple door, ok?" I informed him.
"RIGHT! MASSIVE PURPLE DOOR! MASSIVE.. PURPLE.. DOOR.. GOT IT!!" Papyrus repeated, as if to assure himself of the location.
We continued to walk in comfortable silence a while longer before we reached the door to the end of the Ruins. It was ajar. I think it was because Toriel left it open for us, like I'd asked her to.
"THERE IT IS!!!" Papyrus shouted before dragging me over to it as fast as he could (which was ridiculously fast), jumping up and down as he went.
"Woah, woah." I said as I almost lost footing on the ground several times but Papyrus helped me up, saving me before I fell like the gentleman he is.
I ended up in his arms for the millionth time that day, which included us looking at dramatically into each other's eyes like a romcom before we both look away blushing. Only this time, I didn't leave his arms and he ended up carrying me bridal style, both of us non verbally agreeing that it was a good idea.
