Forever Terror (A Vtuber Story)

Audition for Zenbi

(Hey guys it's me. On top there is a video that I made with Synth V studio which means what you're hearing isn't a real voice. I also want to say that I'm new to it which means It's probably not good, but hey I'm still learning so maybe in the future I can try again and make it better. It's from my youtube channel and the art you see is what I made, by tracing on template art because I'm still learning how to draw as well, especially since my hands and arms are kind of shaking. So if it doesn't look good then I'm sorry. The characters I drew are going to be in this story but not yet. So other than that I hope you enjoy this chapter.)

Kirameki had his eyes closed, resting on his crossed arms on his desk with his laptop in front of him, still on. Kirameki felt comfort in his sleep, resting well like a baby. The room he was in was somewhat quiet with the only sound being made was Kirameki's snoring but luckily it wasn't too loud. The moon still rested in the sky beaming its light upon the earth, though none went inside of Kirameki's house. Leaving all of his rooms in darkness, with the only light inside coming from his laptop. Outside of Kirameki's house was a cricket chirping to itself, hoping that another cricket would hear it so it wouldn't be alone anymore. Kirameki continued to snore as a bit of saliva came out of his mouth as it hung open, but suddenly. A breath in a bit of salvia and suddenly started choking on it. Kirameki immediately jolted and grabbed his neck as he felt his throat being slightly clogged. But quickly Kirameki clenched his fist and punched himself in the stomach, causing him to spit out the salvia and being able to breathe once more. He then started to cough though Kirameki tried in between his coughing as a small amount of tear came out of his eye. After coughing for a bit, Kirameki started to breathe normally once again and rubbed away the small tears out of his eyes. Now able to see clearly again, Kirameki looked around at his surroundings to see he was still inside of his empty room with no other life inside it, like always.

"Did I sleep on my desk?" Kirameki asked himself in his tired voice as rubbed his head. He looked at his laptop to see it was still on, then he looked at the time to see that it was two pm. All Kirameki remembered doing was watching the new Zenbi video announcing they were opening auditions, then he went to the descriptions and pressed on the link and tried to answer as many answers as possible on the google quizzes. Remembering these things, Kirameki rubbed his eyes and let out a big sigh. "I guess I kind of rushed it a bit. Should have waited until tomorrow to do the application." Kirameki told himself with a tired voice. He must have gotten too excited that Zenbi was opening auditions for a second wave, then again this was basically a once in a life opportunity for him as he wasn't sure if Zenbi would ever open another audition any time soon. Then again he could always join another Vtuber agency, there's plenty of them, but this was Zenbi he was thinking, they are the mother of all vtubers, being the reason they happened in the first place. So entering Zenbi as a vtuber would be a dream come true for anyone who wanted to be a vtuber. The second you have their brand on your name, basically everyone wants to know you, other vtubers will want to be your friend and companies would want to sponsor you. So Kirameki couldn't really blame himself all that much if he wanted to do the applications right away.

"Whatever, I can still do the application now." Kirameki told himself in a tired voice. Kirameki stretched his arm into the air, and heard his bone cracking which felt good for him. Once he was done stretching, his eyes became glue to the screen as he was determined to finish the applications. "Alright, I already did the first few questions, let me do the last few." Kirameki told himself as he began checking the new questions.

"Arlight, here we go." Kirameki said as he looked at the next question. "Are you sure you want to join Zenbi?" Kirameki read the question out loud. "Yes." Kirameki said as he tapped on the yes button. Once he did he scrolled down to the next question. "Are you really sure you want to join Zenbi?" The next question asked, which slightly confused Kirameki as it was asking him the same question, but he easily just pushed that thought aside. "Yes, I'm really sure." Kirameki said as he pressed on the yes answer.
