(Hey guys it's me, just what to let you know that. I left a link on my bio to my youtube channel, where I will upload music for this series. Music for characters that have already been introduce or are going to show up. I already have three songs out. To let you know, It was made with Synth V studio so the voices you're hearing aren't real. Also, the art is mine. Let this be known, I'm still learning how to make music and art so I'm sorry if they're not good. Hopefully I'll become better in the future, so for now. I hope you enjoy this chapter.)
Kirameki rested kindly on his bed, his body feeling the warm comfort from his blanket, his head softly resting on his bed. His eye leads gently closed as he quite snore being the only sound in his house. It was exactly one AM, everyone in the neighborhood was sleeping with the only thing still asleep were the insects, such as the crickets. Especially one cricket that resides near Kirameki's window to his room. The cricket chirped like always, hoping to find a mate to mate with, though its chirping wasn't bothering Kirameki, as it was a sound that he was used to. Kirameki continues sleeping, his head empty of any thoughts and dreams, just waiting for seven or eight AM to come. Suddenly, a tapping sound coming from the window disturbed the cricket. The cricket suddenly stopped making its chirping sound, though Kirameki wasn't disturbed by the tapping as he was deep in his sleep. But yet like a broken alarm clock that was going off too early, it kept on going, making an irritating sound. Something kept on tapping Kirameki's window, constantly making tapping sounds which in each second, just became more irritating. Kirameki's eye leads that were once gently closed, were now being tightly closed as the tapping sound slowly woken up Kirameki. Though Kirameki tried his best to ignore it, yet the sound just suddenly became slightly louder as if it was trying to keep Kirameki up. After a few seconds of the tapping noise, Kirameki slowly opened his tired bloodshot eyes with bags under them. Slowly he sat up from his bed, rubbing his eyes as they tried to adjust to the darkness. Once his eyes adjusted to the darkness, he was able to see more clearly, once able to see. Kirameki immediately looked at his window with his tired eyes, only to see what seemed to be a tree branch hitting his window.
"What the?" Kirameki said with a tired voice and a raised eyebrow. If he recalled correctly, there was no tree in front of his house, he should know since he's been living there for more then two weeks now. So seeing a tree branch hitting his window was strange for many reasons. Though his mind simply thought that it could potentially be his neighbor's tree, which he does for a fact that they do have one. Though the tree branch shouldn't be long enough to reach his house. Though because it was quite late at night, Kirameki thought that his brain was just playing tricks on him, but the tree branch had to be there since he was hearing it hitting his window, unless his mind was also making up the sound as well. He just couldn't be certain. So to make sure he was just going crazy, Kirameki got up from his bed but his body was still tired, screaming to go back to sleep as his legs slightly wobbled. Yet his mind's curiosity was getting the best of him, telling him that he had to go check if there was really a tree branch hitting his window.
So with tired legs, Kirameki slowly walked up to his window but as he did, the tree branch continued to hit his window, further irritating Kirameki. Kirameki got closer to the window but as he did, he got a better look at the tree branch. Or maybe it wasn't a tree branch so he looked closer to it. The tree branches seem unusually skinny, like the type of skinny that you found on the ground because they weren't strong enough to stay connected to the rest of the tree. In fact, it didn't seem to be a single tree branch, it seemed to be five tree branches all connected to one to the point it resembles that of a hand. What made him think that even further was that the fact that it seemed to have nails, that nails that didn't seem to be not cleaned or cut for days if months. As the nails seem to be at least an inch long. More importantly, the texture of the tree, it didn't look like it was made of wood, but made of skin, rotten and decaying skin. Skin that looks brownish and half dead.
