I awoke the next morning to find April still very much passed out in her bed, followed by Blaise. They both only had half of their clothes on and I didn't even want to imagine what they'd been doing. I'm so glad that I was a deep sleeper and therefore didn't have to endure the intimacy of their night.
Heading to my wardrobe, I threw on a light grey, fitted top and dark grey cargo pants to match, along with my favourite black doc martins. Then, as quietly as I could, I snuck out- heading to the great hall for breakfast.
'Aster, are you feeling better?' I heard Harry say as he passed me a plate of my favourite food, already dished up. I took a seat next to Hermione as I began to pick at my pancakes. If I'm being honest, I don't feel much better after sleeping.
'uh yeah, I'm okay, thanks. Are you?'
He nodded and Hermione glanced at me, 'I heard you went to the Slytherin quidditch party?'. I nodded and gave her a small smile. 'yeah, uhm, my roommate wanted me to go as her guest'.
'How was that?' Ron chimed in, stuffing his face with bacon and eggs. Hermione sighed and gave him a disgusted look, 'stop eating like a pig Ronald, honestly'. Me and Harry chuckled and Ron sighed, looking at her like she was speaking Gibberish, one thing's for sure, Ron loved his food.
'it was.. intense, a lot of alcohol' I responded, finishing my food.
'Did you get drunk?' Hermione asked, confusion and shock filled her face.
'she didn't seem drunk when I saw her in the common room, though she was rather in a hurry' Harry told her, also curious now.
'no no, I didn't have anything' I lied, it was only one shot so technically not a lot. 'I was only there for a little and then it got really overwhelming'.
They all seemed convinced so I was relieved that they stopped asking questions, technically I wasn't lying, that party was too much.
Suddenly, my owl flew over us dropping a letter in front of me, it was from my parents. I ripped it open.
'Our beautiful girl,
We are so glad that you are okay, though I'm afraid the answer to your question cannot be found in this letter. We have really been hoping this day wouldn't come so soon, but I suppose it is only right for you to know. When you come home for winter break in 2 weeks, your father and I will tell you, until then, please don't tell anyone of this.
Yours sincerely, mom and dad x'
What on earth could that mean??

I spent all day trying to avoid Malfoy, and anyone who was there last night for that matter. I knew April would be looking for me as she'd probably be worried about my sudden disappearence, but I just couldn't deal with that yet.
'Enjoy last night?' a familiar voice cooed, making me stop in my tracks. Shit. Not right now. I turned to find Malfoy leaning againt a wall.
'i don't know what you're on about' I say, attempting to walk away, only to be followed. 'oh don't play dumb, Moonryn, You're probably still drooling over the thought of me kissing you'.
'it was just a dare, wasn't it?' I snap back, causing him to scowl. 'Of course it was, I wouldn't kiss a silly Gryffenwhore out of my own will' the hate that filled his voice made my heart sink.
'well then' I say, walking faster, luckily he didn't follow.
'I bet a pathetic Gryffenwhore like you loved being kissed by someone like me, it's like a once in a lifetime opportunity!' he shouted across the hall.
