The clock ticked by, it had been almost an hour since the female Kim stepped foot at the university. The place where she'll spend the upcoming two years.

She was supposed to report to the Dean's office which was all the way over near the south block, since taehyung had already missed the first class, she felt unnecessary to trouble him more to help her locate the place.

The reason, his second lecture for the day was in the northeast block.

Sighing in defeat, taehyung agreed with her and went along his usual day.

Hae-rin never felt the need for sign boards when there were GPS apps

Until now

She had reached the reception counter, on which Dean's assistant sat. Primarily dependent on those sign boards.

They are going to be my best friend till I get used to this

As she sat on the cold benches of the hallway, she was instantly taken back to Korea,

To SNU

to those horrible days of school where she would sit and hope to have one seat left for her while her life was deprived of her most cherished person.

It still is, you will get used to it they said, but Haerin wondered why it didn't turn out to be true. Even after so many years.

Her train of thought broke when the Dean's assistant volunteered to escort her to the office room. They silently made their way through the corridor. The only voice echoing was the platform heels hitting the marble floor.

Once they stood in front of the door, the assistant held it open for her to enter.

The dean was an old French man, who smiled at Haerin before gesturing her to settle on the chair before him.

The man opened up the file in front of him, the Kim assumed it to be her details. To say that the man was impressed was an understatement.

"I've heard about you, and I must say, SNU has sent us a gem." His accent was not as thick as Haerin had expected, it was understandable.

"It's your humbleness, sir, I hope everything went fine with my admissions?"

"Oh yes sure young lady, your father made sure of everything to be taken care of, you should be able to get your ID by the 28th of this month" the man took a sip of the water.

"Oh that's in two days, thank you"

"You don't have to be worried about the syllabus, the semester doesn't start till the 2nd of next month, and the lectures that are currently held are just to keep the students occupied." he cleared her doubts.

"Can I join after I get my ID?" She asked hesitantly

"I don't see why not, it's totally up to you and oh! You can meet the senior lawyer who wanted you as the intern when he returns from his case in Monaco"
