"Man, incredible! How did you do it? Manipulate the evidence?" Reyaansh asked me, wide-eyed, as we walked out of the courtroom.

I gave him a sideways glance, amused by his enthusiasm. "You're acting like this is the first time you've seen me win," I said coolly, adjusting the cuff of my sleeve. "It's not about manipulating the evidence, Reyaansh. It's about being prepared. I knew exactly what Vishakha would come at me with. She thought she was smart, but I've been playing this game a lot longer."

Reyaansh shook his head, still incredulous. "But those documents she brought... they looked airtight. I mean, if I didn't know better, I'd have thought she had you cornered."

I smirked, the memory of Vishakha's frustration fresh in my mind. "She did her homework, no doubt. But she underestimated how far ahead I always am.

I paused, thinking back to that brief moment in the hearing. "But for a moment, I was actually sweating when she got so close to the secret—the secret that no one is supposed to know."

Reyaansh's brow furrowed. "You mean-"

"Exactly," I cut him off, not wanting to even mention it. "She was a hair's breadth away, but she didn't realize what she was really uncovering. I had to act fast, keep everything under control."

Reyaansh let out a low whistle. "Lucky break, man."

"Lucky?" I gave him a pointed look. "I don't rely on luck. I make sure things never get to the point where luck even matters."

"Anyway, I need that Vishakha in my office by tomorrow, " I said as I moved to where my car was parked along with Reyaansh.

"Why do you want her in your office? Isn't it over already?" Reyaansh asked.

I shot him a sideways glance as we walked toward the car. "Over? No, it's not yet over. She's not going to rest until she gets what she's after."

Reyaansh raised an eyebrow. "You mean the truth?"

I chuckled darkly. "Exactly. And that makes her dangerous. She's persistent, smart, and too damn close to things she shouldn't be. I need to make sure she understands that there's a line she can't cross."

"So, what? You're going to scare her off?"

I opened the car door, my expression hardening. "No. I'm going to make her realize that crossing me was the biggest mistake of her career."
