What A Catch, Patrick (Patrick Stump/FOB Imagine Short Story)

Background/Prologue

Back in 2001, when Fall Out Boy first became a band, Pete introduced Patrick, Joe, and current members, Ben Rose and Mike Pareskuwicz, to a girl - you. You were a girl he had met at a bar and claimed to have "fallen in love with". The minute Patrick saw you, he developed feelings for you. But since you were with Pete at the time, he kept his feelings to himself.

Two years later, 2003, Fall Out Boy released Take This To Your Grave. Pete realized the relationship between you and him wasn't working out anymore and broke up with you.

You cut off all ties with the band when Pete dumped you, but somehow Patrick found you and contacted you. You were hesitant at first, because he was Pete's friend and you really didn't want to involve yourself with him in any way again, but you and he got talking and soon enough the two of you were in a relationship, but a secret one. Because if Pete found out Patrick was with his ex-girlfriend, he would be pissed and it would, without a doubt, jeopardize the integrity of the band.

Fast forward to 2013, the band has recently reconnected and you and Patrick are still together. During band practice one day, Pete notices the ring on Patrick's left hand on his ring finger.

"You got married?" He asks.

Patrick looks down at his left hand and chuckles, "Oh yeah. I didn't tell you?"

"No..." He smirks, "Who's the lucky lady?"

Patrick's cheeks grow red. "You wouldn't know her," He lies.

"Oh come on, tell me. I know a lot of people, Patrick, I'm sure I know her. Or at least someone who knows her."

The singer swallows hard, "Um...no, I really don't think you know her."

"Goddammit, Patrick, just tell me!" Pete smacks Patrick on the arm.

"It's (Y/N)," He mutters under his breath, "I married (Y/N)..."
