Thunder-Girl & Fireblast

Chapter 4: The Darkest Deepens

The Shadow Master cackled with glee, his eyes gleaming with malevolence. "You two are no match for me," he sneered. "My darkness will consume this city, and nothing can stop me!"

Thunder-Girl and Fireblast charged forward, determined to prove him wrong. But the Shadow Master was relentless, unleashing waves of darkness that threatened to engulf them.

Sarah stumbled back, her vision blurring as the shadows closed in. Oliver grabbed her hand, his flames burning bright as he tried to drive back the darkness.

But the Shadow Master was too powerful. He created a vortex of shadows, pulling Sarah in with an otherworldly force.

Oliver shouted her name, desperately trying to reach her. But Sarah was gone, lost in the depths of the Shadow Master's darkness...

"WHERE IS SHE?" Fireblast yelled, his flames burning with fierce intensity. "BRING HER BACK, SHADOW MASTER!"

The Shadow Master cackled with glee, his eyes gleaming with malevolence. "Oh, she's safe... for now," he sneered. "But you'll never see her again unless you surrender to me."

Fireblast's anger boiled over, his flames raging out of control. "NEVER!" he roared, charging at the Shadow Master with fierce determination.

But the villain was too powerful, his darkness absorbing Fireblast's flames like a sponge. He retaliated with a wave of shadows, sending Fireblast flying across the room.

As Fireblast struggled to get back to his feet, the Shadow Master began to taunt him. "You're no match for me, Fireblast," he sneered. "And soon, Thunder-Girl will be mine forever..."

Fireblast's eyes blazed with fury, his mind racing with thoughts of Sarah trapped in the Shadow Master's clutches. He knew he had to act fast, or risk losing her forever...

Fireblast took a deep breath, trying to clear his mind. He knew he couldn't save Sarah through brute force alone. He needed a plan.

He thought back to their previous battles, trying to remember any weaknesses the Shadow Master had shown. And then, it hit him - the Shadow Master's powers were fueled by darkness, but he was vulnerable to intense light.

Fireblast's eyes lit up with determination. He knew exactly what he had to do.

With newfound purpose, Fireblast charged at the Shadow Master, but this time, he didn't attack with flames. Instead, he focused all his energy on creating a brilliant flash of light, one that would pierce the darkness and weaken the villain.

The Shadow Master snarled, covering his eyes as the light washed over him. Fireblast took advantage of the momentary distraction to shout out a desperate plea:

"SARAH, IF YOU CAN HEAR ME, HOLD ON! I'M COMING FOR YOU!"

And with that, Fireblast launched himself into the heart of the Shadow Master's darkness, determined to rescue the woman he loved...
