chapter three: why not me?

*Arianna's pov*
It's been a few weeks since the 'do you remember me' incident. I think she forgot about it, thank the lord. But in those few weeks Emma got a boyfriend. Yay... Ugh, I actually hate him so much. his name's Alex he's tall, has brown hair, green eyes. The type of guy everyone wants.

Sometimes I see them in the hallway holding hands and kissing. It should be my lips your kissing, my hands your holding. But no it's that pigs. And since they have been dating, Emma hasn't been around our friend group. She's been too busy with Alex and his weird friends.

Xavier: why hasn't Emma talked to us?

Millie: I'm not sure

Arianna: it's because of Alex, he's taking her away from us. She says with attitude

Xavier: woahh Ari, is someone jealous?

Millie: oooOOOoO!

Arianna: what? NO? She's just our friend he's taking her away from US!

Xavier: yeah, yeah what ever!

Millie: aside from the Emma situation. I need help with my homework.

Xavier: same, I don't understand anything.

Arianna: how about we have a sleepover at my house and we can work on our homework?

Xavier: omg yes! I haven't seen your house yet!

Millie: I'm in, oh can Claire come as well?

Arianna: I guess, I'm gonna ask Emma if she wants to come.

Xavier: you think she's gonna say yes?

Arianna: maybe, I'm not sure yet.

I Walk over to Emma and Alex. Alex has Emma pinned to the Locker. They make me wanna throw up, I walk up behind Alex and tap him on the shoulder.

Alex: what do u want? Can't you see we're kinda busy.

Arianna: Emma can I talk to you for a second? I say ignoring what Alex said

Emma looks at alex and looks back at me with a smile.

Emma: sure!

We walk away from Alex. I look at her with a smile.

Arianna: so I'm having a sleepover this weekend, And I was wondering if you would like to come?

Emma thinks about it for a second then checks her phone. I'm guessing looking at her calendar.

Emma: what day?

Arianna: Saturday come at like 10 or 11

Emma: I would love to come I don't have anything planned.

Arianna: great! I guess I'll see you then.

Emma: what do you mean? You see me every day?

I look at her with confusion. What is she talking about?

Arianna: well I might see you, but you don't talk to us anymore, you're too busy with Alex and his friends, which is perfectly fine.

Emma: oh, I didn't realize how much time I've been hanging out with Alex.

Arianna: no it's fine!

The bell rings telling kids to get to your classes.

Arianna: I guess I'll see you later.

Emma: yeah bye!

Arianna: bye
