Chapter 2: you don't remember me?

          *After school*
Emma's pov:
After school we all went to a park near my house. We all just talked and laughed, watching the small brunette laugh was the best thing ever. Gosh she's beautiful.

Xavier: I'm so hungryYy! Why didn't we bring snacks!

Millie: I'm actually starving

Emma: my house isn't that far away, if yall want to just walk over there?

Arianna: I'm down if you guys are

Xavier: fine, let's start walking

     *As they are walking to Em's house*

*Arianna's pov*
I walk beside Emma. Sometimes I see her taking a short peak at me when I'm not looking. Xavier and Millie walk in front of us, laughing and lightly pushing each other.
I can't help but to chuckle a bit. We walk past a bookstore, which I can't help but to look through the window.

And as I'm looking I feel something touching my hand. I look down just a bit and realize it's EMMA'S HAND?!? I moved my hand away looking like I had to scratch my arm or something. I took a small look at Emma to see her reaction, she looked embarrassed.

*Emma's pov*
I try to grab Ari's hand, but she moves it away. My face turns a light pink. I try again but this time I just quickly grab her hand instead of slowly. And guess what......it didn't work! She moved her hand right when I was going to grab it. I can't with this anymore, I GIVE UP!

We finally made it to my house. We were all walking expecting my parents to greet us at the door, but nothing. I forgot to tell them my parents on a 2 week long business trip in Mexico.

Millie: Where's Mr And Mrs Anderson?

Xavier: yeah? They usually greet us at the door? He says turning to me

Emma: oh yeah I forgot to tell u guys... My parents are on a business trip at the moment

I noticed Arianna just looking around, not saying anything so I assumed she was just getting a feel of the place. I walk over to the kitchen pantry and grab a few bags of chips, some candy, and a few waters. I put them in a bag I found under the sink.

Xavier: what snacks are u packing?

Emma: oh just some chips a bit of candy and some waters

Xavier: ooO! Can I have a bag of chips now?

Emma looks at him for a minute then throws him a pack of chips, which he misses. Arianna finally turns around and starts dying of laughter with Millie. I'm glad we all get along with Ari.

*Arianna's pov*
As we walked in I noticed it's the same house as before. Same pictures on the way, same couch in the same spot. Nothing changed. I turn around and see Em throwing Xavier a bag of chips which he misses I couldn't help but laugh. When Millie and I finally stop laughing, Emma suggests we just stay at her house for the night which of course I agree to.

I text my mom asking if I could stay at my friend's house tonight. She said 'Por supuesto que puedes, pero no tienes ropa. ¿Quieres que te deje algo?' (of course you can but you don't have any clothes want me to bring some over?) which I say okay I give her the address and I tell her what I want her to bring.

Ari: my mom's coming to the house with some clothes for me

Emma: oh okay, can't wait to meet her

Oh Emma~ you have all ready

Millie: ooo can I meet her too?

Xavier: me too??

Ari: uhhm, if u want to..

15 minutes later there's a knock on the door. I go to open the door and my mom's waiting outside with a bag full of some of my clothes.

Ari: mama these are my friends Emma, Millie, and Xavier.

Mrs. Adams: oh it's nice to meet you all

All: nice to meet you too!

Mrs. Adams: Emma have I meet u before? You look very familiar?

Emma: no I don't think so

Ari: okay mama I think it's time for u to go
She says nervous

Mrs. Adams: oh yeah well it's nice meeting you guys!

All: bye!

I shut the door and look back at them wondering if they are going to ask questions about what my mom ment.

Xavier: your mom's nice

Millie: yeah!

I see Emma nod her head. But it looks like she's thinking about something. Please don't think about where u seen my mom before PLEASE!!

*Emma's pov*
That was weird, I have never seen her before but know that she said something about it I have to think more into it. I noticed Arianna staring at me with concern in her eyes

Ari: Emma are u okay?

Emma: yeah sorry just thinking

Ari: okay..

Xavier: do u guys wanna watch a horror movie?

Millie: omg yes!!

Ari: cool with me. Emma?

Emma: yeah that's fine let's watch it in my room.

All: okay!

Xavier runs up the stairs and he trips on one of them making everyone laugh. When we finally get into my room they all sit down either on the bed or floor. Xavier sits on the floor with Millie laying her head in his lap. What good friends, Arianna grabs some clothes from her bag and asks me where the bathroom is.

Emma: down the hall second door the right

Ari: thanks!

Emma: no problem

Mean while Xavier snatches the remote from my hands and starts looking for the movie. I lightly hit him on the side of the head laughing. We finally picked what movie and started it.

Not long after Ari comes back into the room with hello kitty pj's and a white cropped top. Fuck she pretty, I feel my face getting hot by the second. I quickly look away so she doesn't notice.

She sits down next to me on the bed and grabs some of the blankets. And turns towards the TV and watches the movie.

*Arianna's pov*
When the movie finally ends I notice that Xavier and Millie had fallen asleep. I look over at Emma and she's just looking at her phone.

Arianna: Emma..?

Emma: yeah?

Arianna: do you not remember me..?

Emma: wdym?

Arianna: like do you remember me, from elementary school? Middle school?

Emma: no I don't remember sorry

Arianna: oh no it's okay maybe I have the wrong person.

I can see Emma thinking about something I wonder what she's thinking..
