Logan Diamond
I couldn't stop it. My wolf was going crazy seeing her hug another guy. I watched her for ages, sneakily stalking her, praying she didn't notice. I watched as she sat down on a bench and pulled out a Kindle. So my little angel was a reader? Little angel? Wow, mates really do mess with your head. I don't get what the big deal is about.
The big deal is, our woman is hugging another man! Another Alpha! My wolf screamed in my head.
I stood there glaring at Alpha Jamie West. We didn't really get on, mostly due to the fact that we were both young Alpha males.
"Logan! How very nice to see you!" Jamie said with fake kindness. The girl turned around, her face was a mixture of curiosity and confusion. She was probably confused because of my little outburst. I slowly looked her up and down. Why didn't the fates give me someone ugly! At least is she was ugly I would be able to keep away. She wasn't very tall; she didn't even come up to my shoulder. She had dark, brown waist length hair; perfect hazel eyes and a figure most girls could kill for. My mate sure was a stunner. Her skin was a light coffee colour. It was official. Whoever this girl was; she has me tripping over my own feet.
" Sorry I don't know who you are but my eyes are up here!" My fierce little mate said, glaring at me. She had one hand on her hip and the other one clutched her kindle.
" Sorry babe, just checking out the new talent." I said with a smirk. Why the hell I was being a total douche was beyond me.
" Don't bother! I'm not easy and i so don't go for players." She retorted.
Do something! Win her over! She will be ours! My wolf pleaded.
I looked up. Our eyes locked. Holy. Shit.
Christina Sharpe
His storm-grey eyes held me prisoner. The intense way he looked at me had my knees ready to collapse.
I was kinda pissed at him before because he had the balls to blatantly check me out, like i was a painting on damn display! But the way I felt, he made butterflies form in the pit of my stomach. I felt uneasy under his gaze, hoping he didn't find an imperfection.
The need to be near this man was strong. I felt a strong pull to him. There was something about this man that made me determined to get to know him. I thought I should introduce myself.
I pushed my hand out, still keeping eye contact. "Christina Sharpe. I just moved down here." I said. He just stared at me totally dumbfounded. He gently shook his head. Man that expression was cute! There is something seriously wrong with me. He encased my small hand in his big one. Both of our eyes widened at the electricity humming through us as we touched. "Logan Diamond." He said abruptly pulling his hand away.
He turned to Jamie. "Nice seeing you again Jamie." He said before walking away. I couldn't help but feel lonely as i watched his retreating form.
