Mythili's POV ~

Six months had passed and a lot had happened in these six months. The people whom I knew to be my parents had been declared guilty by the court for murdering my actual parents and Shivaay's father was sentenced imprisonment too, for abducting baba and me. Rajveer, my cousin was sent to a very good hostel in Shimla. Shivaay had taken complete responsibility of his education and other needs and I was proud of my husband. I had started my masters in business administration in finance and was also part time working in Rathore Group of Industries. Baba had completely recovered and was getting healthy one day at a time. We even kept a puja for my parents after all that fiasco was over.

Nupur and Anamika were finally getting married tomorrow and this time, they wanted a very low key wedding, at our home for which, I was currently decorating along with the house help. Shivaay was at work, as usual and Maa, Baba, Anamika and Nupur were probably dealing with the caterers. Big time foodies, all of them.

"M, we're here. Tell us, what to do?" I heard Viraj's voice and turned around to find him along with Amrita and Hritik standing. Once again, we were getting our MBAs from the same college as our bachelors degree and just last night, they had paraphrased my assignment so today there were going to help me with all these preparations. Somethings just never change.

"There's a huge basket of flowers kept inside the kitchen, get that and start with the decorations from that side. The decor inspo is on our WhatsApp group." I said.

"Aye aye captain." They retorted and started helping me.

As Viraj, Amrita, and Hritik got to work, I took a moment to step back and assess the room. We'd chosen a theme of soft pastels and delicate fairy lights to create a warm, intimate atmosphere for Nupur and Anamika's special day. The house was already starting to transform into something beautiful and serene.

I glanced at the clock. Shivaay would be home soon, and I wanted to make sure everything was in place before he arrived. The last few weeks had been a whirlwind, balancing work, studies, and wedding preparations.

"Okay, everyone, remember we're going for a classic yet cozy look," I said, positioning a cluster of flowers on the main table. "The marigold garlands should go up along the walls, and the fairy lights should be draped around the ceiling beams."

"You know," Amrita said, her voice drifting over to me, "this place is going to look magical. Nupur and Anamika are going to love it."

"I hope so," I replied, tying a ribbon around a bouquet. "It's been a lot of work, but it's worth it for them. They deserve a day as special as this."

Hritik and I were setting up the traditional sweet and snack stations, arranging everything properly. "These tables will be a hit. Our brides will love the setup."
