Chapter 5

It had been a few days since the team had to guard the robot parts in the truck. Levi's wound had finally closed, though it left a huge scar across his stomach.

Levi wore his regular clothes as he went outside, where the rest of his team was. He looked down at them by the beach and immediately approached them.

Kaldur noticed Levi as he turned around. Levi looked at Kaldur wide-eyed as Kaldur was shirtless. Kaldur realized where Levi was staring, and a red hue spread across his face.

"G-Good morning Kaldur," Levi says.

"M-My eyes are up here," Kaldur says.

Levi immediately faced him. "Right!" 

Superboy raised an eye row as he turned to the both of them. "What's got you two stuttering?"

"Nothing," Kaldur and Levi say at the same time.

"Whatever," Superboy says as he runs and cannonballs into the water.

"Come on. We should join the others," Kaldur says.

"Right," Levi says.

Levi was about to follow Kaldur until he stopped. 

Kaldur looked back at him. "Everything ok?"

"Um... I may or may not know how to swim," Levi says.

"You don't?" Kaldur asks.

"Shocking right? You'd think a lab rat would be trained how to swim," Levi says laughing nervously.

Kaldur walked over to Levi. "If you feel scared just hold onto me."

Levi's eyes widened. "Ok."

Kaldur took Levi's hand as the two walked over to the others. Superboy did another cannonball which soaked everyone. Levi panicked as he wrapped his arms around Kaldur's torso.

Kaldur blushed as he looked down at Levi. Robin was laughing his ass off as Megan was enjoying herself.

"Hey. I'm kinda hungry," Levi says.

"Oh? Then let's make the hotdogs we brought," Robin says.

Everyone made their way out of the water. Levi held onto Kaldur the entire time. Kaldur was very flustered, but he wasn't about to tell Levi to let go. A part of him was enjoying this.

Everyone sat down as Megan fried the hotdogs on the mini grill. After they were done, Kaldur put a hotdog in bread and handed it to Levi. "This is your first time having a hotdog, right?"

Levi nodded.

"What? No way! Hotdogs are delicious! You're never gonna forget this experience!" Robin says.

Superboy dug into his food like an animal.

"I hope I made it to your liking," Megan says to Levi.

Levi took a bite. His eyes widened as he inhaled the rest of the hotdog. Everyone looked at him wide-eyed. "Are there more?"

Everyone then laughed. Kaldur helped him make another one. 

After they were done eating, they decided to play a game of volleyball. Since Levi didn't know how to play, it was decided that he'd be on Kaldur's team along with Robin.

Robin served the ball high up in the air as Kaldur jumped and slammed it down. Superboy then received the ball and sent it to Megan who slammed the ball down.

It went on like that for a while until the team decided to bury Superboy in a sandpile. Levi enjoyed learning new activities and bonding with his friends. Kaldur smiled as he constantly stole glances at Levi enjoying himself.
