charlie's pov 

I've noticed changes in my boyfriends behaviour lately. he's been moody and sad & having really bad mood swings. he's been swearing more recently & being distant and having upset stomachs & ignoring me at times. 

I just want him to open up to me. 

I call Sarah and tell her about this. "Oh sweetheart. I'm so sorry he's been acting this way. you know it's not you right??" I not then remember she can't see me so I say yes. 

"I'll go in and have a chat with him right now okay charlie??, maybe that will help" 

"I just want him to feel better & I feel like he can't talk to me. Thank you Sarah."  

"Ok Darling, I'll call you when I finish"

Sarah's pov 

I walk into my sons room, kind of terrified at what i'm about to witness. But I have to check up on him.

"Hey sweetheart, I just got a call from your boyfriend, he's worried about you baby & honestly I am too" 

my son is lying in bed watching tv. He starts to breakdown. 

"Oh honey. What can I do to make you feel better?" he starts hyperventilating. "Deep breaths baby it's ok"

I pull him into my lap & pull his legs across my lap. I rock him back and forth to try and calm him down. He may be an adult but I don't care, he's struggling right now and I know this would calm him down.

"Hey sweetheart, shhhhh, I know your sad right now darling" 

I rub his back in big circles as I feel his whole body shaking. Racked with sobs. God I can't even imagine how much he has held in. 

Nellie comes in and hops on nicks bed. 

"Oh sweetheart look here's Nellie, patting her might help baby." 

I wipe his tears & he pat's nellie. "Doesn't that feel better darling?" 

Nick nods "yeah it feels better."

I kiss his forehead & he starts to calm down. 

"it's ok to be sad baby. I'm glad you cried just now, bottling everything up is so unhealthy"

Nick continues to pat Nellie. "I know you don't need to be held like this but in stressful times I know it can help baby." 

"Charlie's worried about you, you might want to talk to him." I kiss his forehead. 

"Drink some water baby. I'm sure you have a massive headache right now." 

Nick nods. 

"thanks mom. Im sorry about my behaviour, i've just been upset."

"It's ok Nicky, I'm just glad your feeling better. Now go call your boyfriend ok, he can stay the night if you want."

Nick nods and finally calls his boyfriend. Sarah calls Charlie to let him know.
