"Hey, Cuties"

I looked towards the voice

It was Jenny.

She came to sit with us on our table

Amber looked at her "Hey" she said

"What are you guys planning to do this week? I'm bored. And Lily cannot go anywhere because she's grounded" Jenny rolled her eyes

"Lily? Grounded?" Amber's brows shot up

Jenny nodded "Her parents are grounding her cuz she got a bad mark in literature. Her father —the school's principal— thinks that's the best punishment."

Well, I think I don't really know how bad her life might be after all.

"No, we don't have any plans for the rest of the week" I said

"No, Jenny. Eva has plans. She plans on baking for the love of her life tonight." Amber rolled her eyes

I glared at Amber. And I saw Jenny's brows shoot up. She's more than surprised. She's shocked.

"The love of your life????" Jenny said

"She's saying nonsense. He's just my childhood friend." I glared at her again. Because she was chuckling.

"Do I know him?" Jenny said. Smiling.

I groaned in frustration as Amber raised a finger to point at Asher on the table behind me. I covered my face with my hands.

"Asher!???" Jenny's voice was loud

Oh my god, you've got to be kidding me.

I'm on the verge of crying right now.

"Sorry" Jenny winced

I didn't turn to see if Asher heard her or not.

"But what the hell? How come didn't I know before —didn't notice?" She said

I took my hands off my face.

"Because I never talked to you till... a week ago??" I said

"Good point" she pointed at me

"Hey, Girls. What you doin?" Someone said from behind me

I turned, it was Alex

He said from the table where he sat with Asher, My brother and Matt.

"What do you want Alex?" Jenny said

"Why don't you come and sit with us?" Matt said.

Jenny and Amber looked at me.

I shook my head

I don't wanna sit with them. My mind won't stop thinking about how close he'll be.
