That night both Ophelia and Kalen slept better than they had in weeks. Kalen didn't wake up once to pace around his house or drink from a bottle, or to fuck the brains out of someone else to forget Ophelia. And Ophelia didn't toss and turn all night in the arms of another with Kalen playing on her mind.

As the sun began to rise, they both snuggled in closer to each other and stayed there. Neither of them wanting to leave the bed or each other.

"Good morning princess." Kalen spoke softly, his eyes still closed as he squeezed her small body.

"Morning." she mumbled, her face buried in his chest "I don't want to go into uni today." she sighed.

Kalen thought for a few moments "Okay, we wont go."

Ophelia lifted her head slightly "What do you mean 'we wont go'." she asked.

"I mean what I said, we wont go." he smiled.

"But won't it look strange if we both don't go in?" she asked.

"No, why would it? No one would even notice any connection." she laughed softly.

"That is true. I'll text Lily soon to tell her I'm not going in."

Ophelia and Kalen cuddled back up together in the covers and spent the next 10 minutes just enjoying being together in silence.

Kalen's head ached a little from the alcohol the night before.

Ophelia lay there tracing patterns on his chest, as her hand trailed over his skin just above his boxershorts Kalen shivered.

"No yet.." he mumbled into the pillow.

"Why not?" she questioned him, continuing to trace his skin.

"I want it to be special for you." he answered.

"Kalen.. it'll be special regardless when or where it happens." she argued.

"I know but I want it to be memorable for you, I really care about you Ophelia, I don't want to to be like any old fuck." he stood his ground, not giving in. He rolled her over so her back was pressed to his chest, and gently kissed her shoulder.

"You could at least touch me.." she trailed off.

"I am touching you Ophelia, stop whining and behave." he warned.

A few moment's went by and Ophelia's phone vibrated, as she reached for it, Kalen stopped her and grabbed it himself.

"Who is it?" she asked. Kalen stayed quiet "Kalen, who is it?" she asked again.

"Liam." annoyance clear in his voice

"Oh.. what does it say?" Ophelia asked.

"He wants to know where you are and why you're not answering your front door. Something about picking you up for school."

"Kalen-" he cut her off before she could finish.

"I'll text him back, he's not taking you anywhere and not from me either." she could tell he was annoyed. She found it best to not interfere she didn't want to be separated from him again, things always felt so natural when she was with him. Kalen sat typing away on her phone for a few moments before handing the phone back to her.

Ophelia read what he put "I'm not feeling too well today, I won't be coming in." surprised at how simple the response with, she expected it to be more along the lines of a break up text.

She took this opportunity to quickly text Lily a short text on how she wouldn't be in today and to not wait for her at the front doors.

Just after she pressed send, her phone began to ring, it was Liam.
