Mohau⋆𐙚

The bright light from the sun shone on my face causing my eyes to flutter open.
My head was spinning as I woke up in a foreign room.

Where am I?
I groaned as I stretched my body while a yawn escaped my lips.

My heart started beating as I looked at my unfamiliar surroundings.
I tried my hardest to remember what happened but I couldn't.
Where was I?

My hand subconsciously went to the back of my head and I felt a bandage.
I groaned as I felt the throbbing pain came back.

As I adjusted my eyes to the light, I looked around my unfamiliar surroundings.
The room was bigger than my own at home. The walls looked white but had a hint of pink that seemed hidden to the naked eye. There was a large tv on the wall across the bed. The furniture was a mix of whites, creams and wooden accents. It looked straight out of pinterest.

As I came to terms with my reality, panic washed over me.
I couldn't remember what last happened, I had a bandage on the back of my head and a throbbing pain that wouldn't subside. I was in a room that looked like something out of a magazine and there were spots blood on my clothes.

I frantically looked for my phone yet nothing. As I got up from the bed abruptly, my head began to spin and a fell back onto the bed.
The combination of my head spinning and stomach churning wasn't pleasant.

What am I going to do.
'Think Mohau, Thinkkkk' I whispered as I got up and paced back and forth.
I needed to make it out of here.
But first. I had to figure out where was I and who did all of this to me.

As I opened the door, I listened to hear of there was any sound.
My ears perk up at the sound coming from the other end of the house.

I cautiously followed the sound while making sure to check my surroundings.

The noise lead me to kitchen and dining room. As I walked closer and closer to the sound, I see none other than X seated at the head of the table across me. His focus is on his iPad, meaning he hasn't seen me.

My heart leaps into my throat as the memories of everything come back.
The fear.
The pain.
The tears.
They all come back.

I stumbled back at the revelation causing me to bump into something.
His full attention is now of me. His eyes bore into my soul, which made me want to jump out of my skin.

"You're awake."
He shot up to his feet.
I suddenly felt sick to my stomach.
I was having an out of body experience.

I knew he wanted to speak. Our eyes held a conversation of their own.
I took two deep breaths and ran to escape.

I watched as she ran to all the possible exits in hopes of escaping.
My eyes followed her movements.

Fear controlled her.
I could see it in her frantic movements and her failed attempt of escape. As she ran she tripped and felt down.

My heart dropped at the sight before me.
I made my way towards her
She seemed stunned by my movements. As if she wasn't sure of what to do.

I see her rubbing her ankle for the pain, the tears streaming down her face were evidence. My chest constricted as I moved to inspect her ankle.

I bent down to get a better view of her injury. Mohau winced as I touched her ankle,
'Ahhhhhh' she whispered as more tears fell down her face.
