Jungkook's POV

Jungkook sat in his office, his fingers anxiously tapping against the polished wooden desk. The memory of the latest perverted message was seared into his mind. His body felt tense, his muscles on edge as if his every move was being watched. No matter how hard he tried to shake off the feeling, it lingered, a constant presence in the back of his mind. The stalker's words were invading every corner of his life, and now, it was clear that whoever this person was, they had taken things to a terrifying new level.

A knock at the door startled him. It was Hana again, her usual bright smile on her face. For a moment, Jungkook wished he could live in her world-where everything was simple and normal.

"Your new bodyguard is here, Mr. Jeon," she announced, stepping aside to allow a tall, broad-shouldered man in a sharp suit to enter.

Jungkook rose from his seat, trying to push aside his fear. This was the first of many changes he had decided to make in his life. No more being vulnerable. No more feeling like prey.

The man, who introduced himself as Seojoon, stood with a confident posture, his demeanor professional and calm. He was exactly what Jungkook had hoped for in a bodyguard-strong, vigilant, and seemingly unshakable.

"Mr. Jeon," Seojoon greeted him with a slight bow. "I've been briefed on your situation. I'll make sure no one gets close to you without my knowing."

Jungkook forced a small smile. "Thank you. I just... I can't shake the feeling that someone's watching me. They know too much about me."

Seojoon nodded. "That's why I'm here. You're safe with me."

Later that evening, Jungkook was at home, the sun setting over the city as he sat in his living room, staring blankly at the TV. He should have felt safer with Seojoon stationed just outside his door, but the feeling of dread was impossible to ignore.

His phone buzzed on the coffee table, and his breath caught in his throat. He knew it before he even looked.

Another message from the stalker.

"You really think this new guard will protect you? How cute. He's nothing. Soon, it'll just be you and me, Jungkook."

Jungkook's blood ran cold. His hands trembled as he reread the message over and over, trying to make sense of it. How did the stalker know about Seojoon already? How close were they?

He rushed to the door, pulling it open, expecting to see Seojoon standing there as promised. But the hallway was empty. His pulse spiked.

"Seojoon?" Jungkook called out, stepping into the hall.

No answer.

Panic surged through him as he hurried down the hall, calling for his bodyguard, hoping that Seojoon wasjust around the corner, doing a security check or something. But deep down, he knew something was wrong.

When he reached the front of the building, he saw him.

Seojoon was slumped against the wall near the entrance, his eyes wide open but unseeing, blood pooling beneath his body. Jungkook felt his knees buckle, his breath coming in ragged gasps as the world spun around him.

The message flashed across his phone again, mocking him.

"No one can protect you from me, Jungkook. No one."

A piece of paper was tucked into Seojoon's jacket pocket. With shaky hands, Jungkook pulled it out.

It read, "One down. How many more will you hire before you realize you're mine?"

Jungkook's POV, Days Later

Jungkook couldn't breathe. His bodyguard had been murdered right outside his home. He was no longer just being stalked this person had crossed into something far more sinister and violent. Seojoon's death
haunted his every waking moment, the image of his lifeless body forever etched in his memory.

But there was no time to grieve. His safety was now the most important thing. The police had been called, and while they were investigating, there were no clear leads. The stalker had covered their tracks well.

Jungkook hired another bodyguard the next day. This time, he made sure it was someone with more experience in high-profile cases, someone used to dealing with threats. Taemin was different from Seojoon. He had a more aggressive attitude, someone who seemed unafraid of danger.

"You'll be safe, Mr. Jeon," Taemin assured him as he took his position outside Jungkook's home. "I won't let anything happen to you."

Jungkook wanted to believe him. He wanted to believe that Taemin's confidence meant something, that this nightmare would finally end.

But the stalker had other plans.

That night, Jungkook's phone buzzed again, another message lighting up the screen.

"Did you really think hiring another one would change anything? I'll always be here, Jungkook. Always watching."

Jungkook's pulse quickened. His stomach twisted into knots. It wasn't long before the doorbell rang, startling him out of his anxious thoughts. He rushed to the door, dreading what he might find.

There, on his doorstep, was a box. His hands trembled as he bent down to pick it up. He didn't want to open it. Every instinct told him to throw it away, but he had to know what the stalker had sent.

Inside the box was something far more horrifying than he could have ever imagined.

Taemin's ID badge, bloodied and torn, lay on top of a note that simply read:
"Two down. How long until you realize you can't escape me?"

The police were at his home again the next day, investigating Taemin's murder, but Jungkook felt more helpless than ever. He was trapped in a nightmare, and it seemed like there was no way out.

Jimin sat with him on the couch, his face pale as he tried to comfort Jungkook.

"Do you think this is someone you know?" Jimin asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Jungkook shook his head. "I don't know. It feels like they're everywhere. They know things about me that only someone close could know."

Jimin sighed, running a hand through his hair. "We have to figure this out. You can't keep living like this."

Jungkook nodded, but he had no idea where to start. Every time he thought he was safe, the stalker proved otherwise. He couldn't keep losing people like this. He couldn't keep living in fear.

As the police packed up and left, Jungkook was left alone in his home again, the silence louder than ever. His phone buzzed one last time that night.

"I'm not done yet, Jungkook. I'll keep killing them, one by one, until you understand that you belong to me."

Jungkook's heart pounded in his chest as he stared at the message, fear washing over him like a tidal wave. How many more would have to die before this stalker was satisfied? How long until they came for him directly?

One thing was certain the stalker was growing bolder, more violent, and no one was safe.

In the shadows, Taehyung watched Jungkook's every move, a sick satisfaction coursing through him as his plans unfolded perfectly. Jungkook would soon realize there was no escape.

And when that moment came, he would finally claim what had always been his.
