She crawled into the bed. The smell of the sheets didn't make the situation better. They smelled of her friend's perfume. The friend she didn't even know was alive or not.
She wanted nothing more than to run outside and look for her and Jacks. She wanted to desperately look through her mother's spellbooks to try and figure out what type of curse had been placed on him. She believed she could break it. She desperately hoped so. She would give up anything, so everything could be the same again. For her family to be whole, for the Merrywooods to be alive, for Jacks to bw free of that curse. She cared so much to erase that, that she didn't even think about her own new purpose. She wept, even harder when she couldn't sence Castor's presence anymore. He was gone, hunting. She was more alone than ever. She was a monster alone, a terrible thing to be. She wasn't hungry, at least not so much for blood. But she yearned for something, someone. Anyone she ever trusted to ease this never ending suffering.
When the darkness of the outside filled the room she finally gathered the courage to get up. She quickly changed into of one of Lala's dresses. She was a beast now, but the world didn't have to know it.
She run through the Merrywoood forest. Holding that dagger tightly. Perhaps she didn't need it. She was stronger than any mortal could be. Her body might have become immortal, her mind was still one of a human though.
She shouted Lala's name a couple times but there was no answer. Until she stumbled upon a bunch of arrows stuck to the ground. With hearts on top of them. An eerie sight.
Jacks was seated on a rock. Carrying what Castor had described. She felt a lump in her chest. A undescribable force dragging her down. A darkness made of sadness and tears.
"Jacks" she called.
"Bellona! Come on, I must tell you all about new obsession" obsession.
As he lifted his head, she froze. His eyes weren't that familiar blue but a glowing red. Like a fire burning inside him. A catastrophic one.
"Jacks...what are you talking about?" Her voice breaking.
"Lyanna of course. She is wonderful. And if I don't tell my childhood best friend, then who?" Childhood best friend, not girlfriend.
"Ah..." Her voice breaking once again. "We are together"
He laughed, loudly, as if she told a joke.
"Oh, Bellona...I never thought you liked me that way. Castor never even told me. Well, I hope you find someone that would love you"
"Jackie" she approached him. His eyes turning blue again as she touched his face.
"Two nights ago. We were kissing remember?"
She spoke quietly almost like a cry for help.
He removed her hands from his face and took a step back.
"Have you gone insane? Kissing? I love Lyanna. We were only ever friends" he stared clearly.
It was if he didn't remember. And no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't detect a sign that would reveal he was lying.
"Don't you remember?"
"What? That you have gone insane? Perhaps I should have"
She wanted to kiss him, to punch him. To break every single one of those arrows. His words felt like a thousand of them had pieced through her.
"She is close, I hear footsteps" he grabbed an arrow and followed the sound, his eyes burgundy again.
Bellona wasn't jealous of that girl, she pitied her. There was no denying she will die.

She had just come back from the palace. It was completely empty now. Walls with tapestries and empty tables with rats eating away crumbs.
She took every single magical object she could find. They could cause undescribable disasters if they ended up on the wrong hands.
She was sitting in the living room of the Merrywoood manor again, with a map of the north on her lap.
"I bought you something" Castor spoke, covered in blood again. He was dragging the body on an unconscious man.
She swallowed, barely able to look at the sight.
"What?" He was a little frustrated.
"I can't do a single spell" Her eyes teary red, making the emerald-green pop out more.
"But- you did that with the candles" he argued.
"I suppose my new nature hadn't really settled yet" she paused for a moment.
"I tried to do a simple locating spell to find Lala and it doesn't work. I can't do anything"
"Well, I am sure you can find someone for that" he suggested.
"The only people with magical abilities I trusted locked themselves up in an unopenable Valory" she reminded him. "Lala could be anywhere. And Jacks, Jacks practically doesn't remember anything about me"
"Do you think his curse could he broken?"
"I don't know which one exactly you are talking about. The Archer thing... cannot. It is a storytelling curse. A very powerful one. It is set with the intention to be a legend, part of the histories. Only the one who set it can break it"
