Chapter 3

When Harry arrived at work the next day he acted like nothing has changed he got Louis his coffee said hello to everyone and got straight to work but every now and then his mind to shift to the baby and how in a few mouths he'd be a parent but other then that he had a good day and got all his work done but I know I have to tell Louis I just don't know what to say to him I mean it's not everyday you tell your boss your expecting his baby 

But I know that I have to do I know I told myself to wait until 12 weeks but I don't think I'll be able to keep this to myself for that long so after everyone leaves for the night I stay because I know Louis is probably going to stay late since he doesn't have a girlfriend to go home to anymore so I seat at my desk and just kinda play with and pen and look over papers I already finished until finally I heard Louis's office door open 

I look up and see him locking the door while holding a briefcase I stand up and walk up behind him "Mr. Tomlinson" I say and he jumps and looks at me with a scared face "Jesus Christ Harry don't do that you almost gave me a heart attack but what are you still doing here I thought you left with everyone else at 5:00" he says confused "i wanted to talk to you" I say "and you couldn't of waiting until tomorrow" he says "no actually this is something we need to talk about privately and I didn't want to tell during daylight hours where people could walk in or listen in on our conversation" I tell him why I waited

"Ok so what it is it better be important" he says putting his boss mood back on "yes it is important or else I wouldn't have stayed after hours just to speck with you it has something to do with you and our night together" I say "what I'm clean or did you give me something and he didn't mention that night" says starting to panic "no no I'm clean to no i didn't give you any kind of STD trust me I would have said something right away when we agreed to sleep together" I tell him and he calms down 

"Ok so what do you have to me if it's not about any STDs" he asks and I try to think of the right words "look Harry it is late and I would like to go home and get some sleep which I would be almost home right about now but your holding me up about something you want to talk about but your not saying it so if you don't mind I'm leaving" he walking past me I panic and "I'm pregnant" I blurt out and he freezes but doesn't look back at me "w-what did you say" he asks in a quiet voice "I'm pregnant Louis at least 2 weeks along I know it's really early and I was going to tell you after the 12th week mark but I just couldn't wait that long to tell you" I say 

He finally turns around and looks at me "but how we only had one night together and sure we didn't use protection but I didn't think having sex once with no protection would immediately turn into pregnancy" he says "I don't know and the doctor wasn't very helpful when I voiced the same thing to him just said that these things happen sometimes blush blush blush" I say rolling my eyes thinking back to the stupid answers the doctor gave 

"So what are you going to do I mean are you going to keep it, or give it up for adoption, or are you going to you know get rid of it" he asks and he says the last part quietly and hesitantly "no I'm not getting rid of it nor am I giving it away to another family I'm keeping it" I tell him wrapping my hands around my stomach and he looks down at my hands "ok good so how do we do this like coparenting or" he asks "coparenting can work I'm not going to ask you to pay child support and your free to visit the baby whenever you'd like it's not like we have to automatically start dating because we are having a baby together" I say 

"Ok coparenting it is then but would let me come to the appointments" he asks "sure yeah of course you can be there maybe when I'm farther along and we know the gender we can go baby shopping I don't really care if it's at a store or online" I ask and he nods his head "yeah that would be great well I should probably get going since it's getting pretty late and we both work tomorrow" he says I nod and we walk out of the building and right as he's about to go to his car I stop him "wait um I have a ultrasound picture if you'd like to see" I say pulling the picture out of my coat he walks up and we look at it under a building light 

"That's the baby that tinny little dot" I say pointing it out to him "wow there's really a baby in their" he says "yeah here you keep it" I say handing it to him "no but it's yours" he says trying to hand it back "no really it's ok I have another one" I say "well if your sure" he says "I am" i say "ok then thanks" he says then walks away to his car I watch him get in and drive away before doing the same and I'm honestly amazed by how good that went
