first kiss

"Why did you come to me in morning? Did you want to say something?" Purva asks Shankar.

"Well, umm… I..." Just then, he hears someone calling him. He looks around and sees that one of his friends is calling him.

"Actually, I have to go. My friend is calling me. We'll talk later," Shankar says as he walks away.

**Outside the canteen:**

Arjun and Somya are arguing with each other.

"What happened? Why did you bring me outside?" Somya asks angrily.

"Because I know that if you stayed there, you'd definitely fight with Purva, and I don’t want any drama."

"Oh, and I'm just supposed to stand there and listen to whatever she says?"

"She’s talking to me, not you, so you don't need to get involved, okay?"

"Maybe you don’t consider me yours, but I've always seen you as mine. If anyone says anything to you, I’ll show them who Somya is!"

"I don’t need you to fight for me."

"Why? How many times have I fought for you before? And you never said this to me."

"Well, I’m saying it today. There’s no need for you to fight for me."

"For anyone, or just for Purva? I've been watching you all morning. You never used to talk to girls, so what’s special about this one that you care so much?"

"Yes, for Purva. You won’t say anything to her. Whatever she does or says, I have no problem, and neither should you."

"Are you in love with her?"

"I don't think I need to tell you everything."

"Fine, don’t tell me. But if she says anything to you, I’ll break her face. And let me tell you one thing—you can’t love anyone other than me. I love you, and you have to love me back. Got it?"

"Talking to you is pointless." Saying this, Arjun walks away.

Watching them fight, Satwik is shocked. He wonders what has happened between them today.

"What’s wrong with you? Where are you lost?" Somya asks, looking at Satwik.

"What happened to Arjun? He’s never fought with you before. You’ve fought with so many people for him, and he never said anything. So, what happened today?"

"I don’t know. I’ve never talked to him like that before either, but today I said so much in anger."

"Is Arjun mad because I ate his food?"

"How did you get into 11th grade? You still talk like a second-grader."

"Then why is he mad?"

"I don't know. And listen, don’t talk to Purva, understand?"

"Yeah, yeah, I won't. Shall we go?"

"Yeah, let's go."

Somya and Satwik walk back into the canteen, and what they see shocks them both. Purva is on the ground, and Arjun is on top of her.

**What happened? (Flashback):**

As Shankar walks away from Purva, she goes to the water cooler to drink water. Shankar, looking for her,. comes back. Both are standing near the water cooler. Meanwhile, Shivani and Rohan are planning to push Shankar towards Purva, hoping that Purva would slowly start falling in love with Shankar, and then Rohan could accuse purva of cheating, leading to their breakup.
