Jin was in the kitchen, focused on preparing a meal for everyone. His sleeves were rolled up, and the familiar sound of chopping and sizzling filled the room. As the eldest of BTS, he took pride in his cooking, often stepping into the kitchen to create delicious dishes for the group.
Just as he was about to stir the sauce, he felt a gentle warmth embrace him from behind. Y/N had quietly entered the kitchen, unnoticed by Jin. She wrapped her arms around his waist, hugging him tightly. The unexpected affection brought a smile to Jin’s face.
“Y/N,” he chuckled softly, “what’s this all about?”
Without saying a word, Y/N leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek, her warmth radiating through him. Jin froze for a moment, feeling the gentle peck, and then his smile grew even wider. He could feel his heart flutter, a rare reaction from someone usually so calm and collected.
Turning his head slightly, Jin caught Y/N’s gaze, her eyes twinkling with affection. “What’s with the surprise kiss, huh?” he teased, his voice playful but filled with affection.
Y/N grinned, resting her chin on his shoulder. “Just wanted to show some love to the chef,” she said softly. “You’re always taking care of us, so I thought I’d take a moment to remind you how much I appreciate you.”
Jin’s heart swelled at her words. Despite the daily chaos that surrounded their lives, moments like this made everything feel perfect. He gently turned around to face Y/N, still holding the spoon in his hand. “You know, you make it really hard to concentrate when you do that,” he joked, though his eyes were filled with tenderness.
Y/N shrugged playfully. “Maybe that’s my plan. Distract the chef and sneak some extra love into the recipe.”
Jin laughed, his heart light. “Well, I guess I’ll have to get used to that.”
As the two stood in the kitchen, surrounded by the aroma of Jin’s cooking, the moment felt serene and intimate. It was these little gestures that strengthened their bond, filling their lives with love and warmth amidst everything else. The simple act of a hug and a kiss had made Jin’s day, and he couldn’t help but feel grateful for Y/N’s presence in his life.
