It poured crazily today,
Maybe it was God.Paint on my wall
Started to fall,
Broke all my windows,
Locked my doors,
Blocked me within those.Lightning shaking walls,
Frightening, cracking calls,
Trapped between vaults—
Maybe it was God.Backed me into a corner,
Wrapped in my fear of despair,
He pulled out tears of his share,
Woke up in the middle of a nightmare,
Looked up,
He diddled my sight there.Sight was blurry from yesterday,
Night was heavy since the day
She left me; I hadn’t cried since.
Was it all dried eyes' scene
To feel light, tired, and hide the dream,
And replace its mare for
scary spiritual metaphor?
Maybe it is God
Speaking through thy mind.
Bleak view, empty void,
Rolled down a tear, annoyed.
Thought about the rain for a while. Is he wailing from heaven?
Maybe he lost a battle with Satan,
Or maybe he lost his woman.
