The sun hung high in the sky as Alastor and Lucifer stepped out of the hotel, the warmth of daylight contrasting sharply with the usual darkness of their surroundings. Lucifer had suggested they spend the day at a cozy café that whispered of warmth and good vibes, a rarity in Hell's chaotic realm. Alastor felt a flutter of excitement in his chest, grateful for the chance to share a quieter moment with Lucifer.

As they approached the café, the familiar aroma of roasted coffee beans and baked goods wafted through the air, drawing Alastor in like a moth to a flame. "It smells amazing," he exclaimed, his eyes lighting up with delight.

Lucifer: (He grinned, his hands tucked into the pockets of his tailored coat) I thought you'd enjoy it. Sometimes, a little escape from the ordinary is exactly what one needs...

Inside the café, they found a spot by the window, sunlight spilling over their table, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Alastor scanned the menu, heart singing at the prospect of indulging in something sweet.

Alastor: What do you recommend? (He asked, glancing up at Lucifer with something akin to hope)

Lucifer: Why not try the bowl of fingers? It's what you like no~? (He replied, his eyes sparkling with mischief)

Moments later, they were presented with the much-anticipated dish-a lavishly presented bowl, adorned with whimsical details that made it all the more enticing. Alastor couldn't help but dig in, relishing the flavors as he savored the playful experience.

Alastor: This is amazing! (He marveled, eyes widening as he took in each taste)

Lucifer: And to think, it's just fingers... Lucifer teased, sipping his coffee with a satisfied smirk.

Loss in the moment, Alastor reveled in the light-hearted banter and the gelid weight of the coffee in his hand. The café's atmosphere was enchanting, making his worries feel miles away. In the midst of their laughter and conversation, however, their easy demeanor began to shift as Lucifer's gaze turned serious.

Lucifer: Alastor (He began, his tone shifting from playful to sincere) there's something I've been wanting to discuss with you...

Alastor:(He paused mid-bite, suddenly feeling a pang of apprehension) What is it? (He asked cautiously, sensing the weight of the moment)

Lucifer: I've been thinking about us..... (He said, leaning forward slightly, his gaze piercing yet gentle) I want to pursue a serious relationship with you...

Alastor's heart raced, caught completely off guard. He stared at Lucifer, his expression a mixture of surprise and uncertainty, looking very much like a deer caught in headlights. "A serious relationship?" he echoed, trying to wrap his mind around the words.

Lucifer: (He chuckled softly, the corners of his lips curling with amusement at Alastor's flustered state) Yes, darling. A real relationship. One with commitment, care... a future (He said, his voice low and sincere)

Alastor: (fumbled for the right words, overwhelmed by the sudden intensity of the conversation) I-uh....(His mind raced, and he instinctively looked down at the bowl of fingers between them. It was as if the world around him had spun out of focus, the café noise fading into background hum)

In that moment, he noticed something glinting at the bottom of the bowl. Alastor hesitated, blinking in confusion before his curiosity won over. He leaned closer and reached into the bowl, fingers brushing against what felt like a small, smooth object. He pulled it out, his heart racing as he recognized it at once.

It was a ring-lavishly designed, with intricate details that sparkled under the café's warm light. His eyes widened in disbelief as he looked up at Lucifer, questions swirling in his mind.
