She regains consciousness

She groans

She sees Scratch and Molly and Nightwolf looking down at her

Scratch: Boo!

Libby: W-what?

Molly: Libby, this is Scratch. He loves tacos, napping, and acting grouchy but really, he's a big squishy marshmallow, aren't you, bud?

They are hugging Scratch

Molly: You're so squishy!

They laugh

Scratch: Come on, I'm not a toy!

Nightwolf: And Scratch, this is Libby! She's--

Scratch: Yeah, obsessed with turtles, lousy at softball, way too deep in conspiracy theories. I'm familiar with the Lib.

She takes out her recorder

Libby: Supernatural theory number thirty-seven confirmed. Ghosts do exist! And they're rude.

They are hugging both Libby and Scratch

They sigh

Nightwolf: Finally, the truth is out! Now our two BFFs can be BFFs together!

Scratch: Whoa whoa whoa, I do not need or want to be friends with Libby.

Libby: Same. I'm very particular about who I let into my friend circle.

Scratch: Not everyone has to like each other all the time, Moll and Nightwolf.

Molly: Uh, yes, they do! More friends equals more fun!

Scratch/Libby: Mm-mm.

Nightwolf: Okay, fine! You know what? We'll just let this friendship flower bloom naturally. With no interference from us whatsoever.

They cross their fingers behind their back

Libby POV

She finds an envelope from Molly and Nightwolf in her locker

Libby: Ooh!

She takes the envelope and closes her locker

Scratch POV

Meanwhile, Scratch finds another envelope-- also from Molly-- in the living room of his house; since it's a former dollhouse, of course, the envelope for Scratch crowds half the room

Scratch: My space feels violated!

They open their envelopes at the exact same time. Although Libby's letter was on pink paper with turtle-themed decorations, and Scratch's was on green paper with spooky ghost-and-spider-themed decorations, the handwriting and message on it was exactly the same, as shown when the two letters merged together in the split screen

Molly: Meet me at the softball field after school for a super fun surprise! Your best friend, Molly and Nightwolf.

At the same time, unaware of the other letter

Scratch/Libby: Ha! I knew I was their best friend!

He shows up, confused to notice Molly and Nightwolf wasn't there

Scratch: Molly and Nightwolf?! Hmm,

He looks at his letter

Scratch: I mean, why would they call me to a softball field? They know I'm allergic to organized sports!

At that moment, Libby shows up, and she and Scratch are shocked and slightly annoyed to see each other there
