Balloon and nickel had been secretly dating for a while, and today, they had planned to go to an ice cream shop.

They wanted to experience what a date had felt like since they kinda don't have any time for dates as they hang out with their friends more.

But today, they had planned to make it all about their relationship.

Balloon picked up nickel at house and left for the shop at 6:32 pm.
"Hey, Nick!"

"Hi! I've missed you so super much!!" Balloon gave him a few kisses on the cheek, and they started going to the Ice cream shop. 

When they arrived, they ordered
their favorite ice cream flavors.

( idrk if they actually even have a fav, so I'll just choose the basics )

"Hi, can we get one strawberry ice cream and one vanilla ice cream?" Balloon asked politely.
"Sure. That will be $4.75." The ice cream man replied.

Balloon reached into his pocket and found 4 dollars and a few quarters. He gave it to the ice cream man and waited patiently with the love of his life, nickel.

"I love ice cream!" Nickel randomly blurted out. His eyes glimmering at Balloon.

Balloon blushed.

He must've been the luckiest man in the world to even have someone as pretty as nickel.

Nickel stared at Balloon blankly.

"Uhh.. are you spaced out..?"

Balloon had suddenly snapped back to reality.

"Wha-? Huh? Oh no im fine!" Balloon said awkwardly.

Nickel squinted at him and returned back to blabbering about how much he likes ice-cream and why he loves strawberry ice-cream

On the other hand, nickels words were almost- just kinda going through Ballons head and out.

He kept admiring how adorable his boyfriend looked when he yapped about something he liked.
He really wished he could've kissed him right then and there.

but if they did, their cover would be blown and they aren't ready to reveal they are dating.

"Hello? Are you even listening?!?"

Nickel said, noticing balloon doze off to space again.

"What? Oh I was listening- yeah I was."

"Then what was I talking about?"

"Icecream."

"What flavor?"

"Nick, I know you pretty well and I think we both know what flavor you like the most."

Nickel rolled his eyes. "Okay, but what was I talking about specifically?"

"Uhh..." Balloon said rubbing his chin softly.

"SEE YOU WEREN'T LISTENING!!" Nickel proved.
Balloon let out a small giggle and smirk.

By the time nickel and balloon were done having their conversation, their ice-cream was ready to be eaten. They went up to the stand and grabbed their ice creams and started their journey back home.

"Dude, I just love ice cream so MUCH 💜"
"You've said that atleast 50 times now nickel," Balloon smiled.
"Whatever." nickel rolled his eyes and smirked.

As soon as they got back to idk balloons house or something*
They immediately lounged on the couch and started enjoying their ice cream

( also if ur wondering how nickel is eating if he's in object form Balloon is holding the ice cream for him and if in humanform and nickel has hands* then he is holding it by himself.)

"Wow, that was so delicious!" Nickel said, swallowing the last piece of his ice cream cone.
"We should do this again tomorrow." Balloon said wrapping his hand around nickel.
"Yeah." Nickel leans into balloon and slowly starts dozing off to sleep.

Also if the story if possibly bad, it was written back in 2024 and I just now completed it. Also the reason for my absence was
1. Schoolwork
2. Trying to get a better glow up
3. in 2025 I realized my skin was sensitive so I quite literally almost burnt my face off.
4. Idk I barely felt like writing and lowkey depressed
5. I got logged out again
6. I kept focusing on tiktok cause I got banned. TWICE (they thought I was a kid and my friend was older. IM OLDER THAN HER.*
7. I'm sick ( even rn  I am)
