Sam's Point of View
I had planned everything carefully. Dean's birthday is coming up, and we're throwing a surprise party for him. I told everyone—Raven, Birch, Dean, Bobby, and Ellen—what I was up to. "Hey, I'm going to the store. Does anyone want anything?"
I decided to take my Toyota, even though I knew Dean would let me use the Impala if I wanted. I didn't want to impose, and besides, the Toyota had been running fine.
The drive started normally, but after a while, something felt off with the car. The speed seemed to increase on its own, and no matter how hard I pressed on the brakes, they wouldn't respond. The panic that gripped me was overwhelming. I tried to steer the car, but it felt like I had no control. I could hear the screech of tires, the roar of the engine, and then, the sickening crash as the car slammed into something hard.
Pain exploded in my back, and my body went numb. I couldn't move or feel anything, and suddenly, everything went dark.
Dean's Point of View
Sam had been gone for hours, and I was starting to get worried. He should have been back by now. I mentioned my concerns to everyone, and while they tried to reassure me, the uneasy feeling wouldn't go away.
Lily, who had been quietly drawing in the corner, spoke up. "Dad, I had a vision."
My heart skipped a beat. "What do you mean, sweetheart?"
Lily's eyes were serious, filled with a mix of sadness and determination. "I saw Sam's car. It crashed. He's hurt, Dad."
The room fell silent. My mind raced as I tried to process her words. Birch looked equally concerned. "Are you sure, Lily?"
Lily nodded, her face pale. "I saw him in the car. He wasn't moving."
Without another word, I sprang into action. "We need to find him. Now."
Birch grabbed his keys and we rushed out of the house, heading for the car. I could barely think straight as panic clawed at me. What if something had happened to Sam? What if he was badly hurt or worse?
Sam's Point of View
I came to consciousness in a haze of pain. My back was throbbing, and I couldn't feel my legs. My head was pounding, and the darkness was complete. I tried to move, but my body wouldn't respond. The last thing I remembered was the crash, and now, all I could hear were distant, muffled sounds.
My vision gradually cleared, and I saw a blurry outline of what looked like a street. The car was crumpled around me, and I could make out the faint sound of sirens in the distance. I wanted to call for help, but my voice was weak, barely a whisper.
The pain was unbearable, and fear gripped me. Were they going to find me in time? I tried to stay conscious, focusing on the distant hope that someone would come to my rescue.
Dean's Point of View
We reached the location where Lily's vision had pointed us, and my heart sank as we saw the crumpled Toyota. The scene was chaotic—police cars, ambulances, and a crowd of onlookers. Birch and I rushed out of the car, pushing through the crowd, desperately searching for Sam.
I spotted one of the paramedics and approached him. "My brother was driving this car. Have you found him?"
The paramedic looked grim. "We're still working on it. He's in critical condition. The car's been heavily damaged, and we're trying to stabilize him."
The world seemed to tilt around me. I felt a wave of dizziness and despair. "Is he going to be okay?"
The paramedic didn't have an answer. "I can't say right now. We're doing everything we can."
