He came back. He texted Sally again, asking to meet her, but she was on vacation in Istanbul for five weeks. He waited. As soon as she came back, he asked her again. But Sally blocked him. She just wanted peace in her life and someone who deserved her. Her friend Lisa and Sally don't text each other anymore because Sally blamed Lisa for what happened, which wasn't a reasonable reaction. Sally knew she was wrong and wanted to apologize, but she wasn't sure how.

Sally just hoped that the drama would end, but then she found out again that he had cheated on her while asking for forgiveness. Sally was so emotionally drained, she couldn't even cry. He even sent Sally a video of him cheating on her. She was deeply hurt, but chose to stay silent and blocked him, as he deserved. She reminded herself: "Once a cheater, always a cheater."

He still kept coming back, wanting to meet her. Sally didn't know what to do anymore.

Sally was confused. Why did he keep coming back, even when she had left him multiple times? How could someone not understand that she didn't want him in her life anymore?

She was even considering calling the police because the situation wasn't normal. She had never dealt with anyone so pushy, someone who wanted her in the way he did.

One day, he came to her house to pick her up. He said, "If you don't come, I'll ring the bell," and Sally had strict parents. They would never allow her to meet with guys, so her only option was to go with him.

They got in his car and went to a chic restaurant. They had a nice dinner, but she wasn't impressed. She asked, "Why are we eating out? Since when do you invite me like this?" He answered, "Just wait, the night will be long." Sally just looked at him, confused.

When dinner was over, they went to a park for a walk. He tried to hold her hand, but she rejected him. He was a little hurt, but Sally didn't care at all.

He asked, "Do you really not love me anymore?"

Sally replied, "That's the problem, I do."

He looked confused. "What do you mean?"

Sally said, "What do you mean, what do I mean? Are you serious? Are you really asking me this question? Every time I see you, yes, my heart gets excited. But every time I look into your eyes, I see all the things you did to me. I accepted it all because I loved you and didn't want to lose you. But you're a cheater. You don't deserve me at all."

He responded, "Even after how many times you left me without a word, I always forgave you. Yes, I had contact with other women, but I was so sick of you leaving me all the time. You were also with other guys, so what are you even talking about? I've heard things from other people too. I was hurt. I thought you were just mine. We can't build a relationship like this, with you leaving me all the time. I live in fear every day, wondering when you'll leave me again."

Sally freaked out: "Yes, I left you. And yes, I was with other guys, because I was trying to fill the void you left. But I didn't cheat when we were together, like you did!"

He said, "Calm down, Sally. I didn't cheat either."

Sally snapped: "Don't lie to me! You did. Those times when you didn't text for weeks? You were definitely with other girls. I'm not stupid. Don't you dare lie to me now."

He said, "I'm always thinking about you. When you're not in my life, I feel lost. You gave me confidence, and you motivated me to go after my dreams and hobbies again. Since you came into my life, you've given it meaning."

Sally sighed. "I think the chapter with us is over. We both know we can't imagine a life without each other. I can't, at least. But you hurt me, and I think we shouldn't meet again."

He responded, "I think we should leave all that behind and take the next step."

She asked, confused, "What next step? I don't want to take any steps with you. Ugh, just leave me alone, for real. I can't take this anymore, seriously."

He said, "We both know we still have feelings for each other."

Sally replied, "Love and feelings aren't enough. I don't think we can get back into a relationship."

He said, "We were together for half a year, and for the rest, we weren't. So, sorry to say this, but I never cheated on you, and you never did either. During that half-year, I never cheated on you. Yes, it was beautiful, but when things started getting serious, I couldn't handle it, and yes, I went to other girls. But since the first day I saw you, you've been on my mind all the time. Just give me a chance."

Sally sighed again. "Okay, now you've confused my head. I had a strict mindset, but now I'm confused. I don't know what to think, what to say, or what to choose."

He said, "Take your time. Just know, I'll always be by your side. Don't think you can leave me, it wouldn't work. I'll always come back."

She muttered, "Yeah, we know that."

After their walk, they found a park bench and sat down. They decided to smoke a cigarette and just enjoy the silence.

Sally said, "My mom texted me. She's asking where I am and telling me to come home soon."

He said, "Okay, of course I'll take you."

They got in the car and listened to music. When they arrived at her house, they hugged, and he told her, "Take care. Love you."

She responded, "We'll see. Give me some time to think."

Sally went inside, and her parents immediately asked, "Where have you been?"

Sally replied, "I'm 22 years old. I'm grown. I don't have to explain myself to you. Just get off my back."

She went to her room, exhausted, and took a deep breath. She decided to go to sleep because she didn't want to think anymore.

But overthinking kicked in, and sleep wasn't possible for a while. Eventually, she drifted off.
