A New Start And an Old Face

After me and Kyle had finished talking for a while we decided to unpack all of our things and just get used to the flat, Since we had both came earlier to the flat I suggested we go out for a meal after we finished unpacking our stuff since we had nothing in any of the cupboard.
I was currently in the kitchen unpacking some utensils that I had got from home and cutlery when Kyle came in helping me out.

"Hey tomorrow you wanna go to shops to get some food we can go look round the city as well if you want ??" I said whilst trying to reach the top of the cupboard.

"Yh sure I don't have a job yet anyway" he said taking the plates and towering over me to put it them the cupboard, with me only being a mere 5,0ft and Kyle being at least 6,0ft he was giant compared to me.

My cheeks flushed as I realized how close we where I stepped back slipping on some bubble wrap on the floor, I close my eyes waiting for the impact but it doesn't come when I open my eyes I'm met with deep chocolate brown ones which I could stare at all day.

Whoa where did that come from get a hold of yourself summer he's your flatmate you can't check him out

"You see something you like there Winnie" I looked up to see a cocky smirk plaster across Kyle's face noticing that I was starring at him.

"Oh sorry" I said getting out of his arms and carried on putting away the last of my stuff.

"Its okay look all you want but touching will cost you"

"I'm okay thanks buddy" I say walking towards my bedroom.

"Aww don't be harsh Whinnies it was only a joke no need to go" he said following me to my room.

"I'm going to my room I hardly call that a crime now do you mind leaving, as I'm going for a shower"

"Want me to join you?"

"Yh sure". I said without realizing "wait... no... I didn't..... I wouldn't...... ewww oh my god out now!!!!"I said pushing him out my door my face flaming bright red.

"Its okay you're not the only woman who has accepted my offer Winnie!" He shouted from the other side of the door I could just hear the smirk in his voice.

I walked to bathroom turning on the shower striping out of my pj's and letting the walk water relax my body.

How could I get so flustered over some guy??',I have just met him what is wrong with me he is just some guy, my roommate who has gorgeous brown eyes.... no no stop this summer he is your flatmate you have to live with him stop thinking like this.

After my shower I tide my hair in a scruffy bun letting it dry naturally and finished unpacking my stuff in my room. After sometime there was a knock at my door.

"Hey summer you ready to go get some to eat?" Kyle said from the other side of the door

Shit!!! I spent so long unpacking I didn't realize how late it was

" Yh sure Kyle give me 15 and I'll be ready"

"Okay I'll wait in the living room, you wanna take my car or walk"

"Lets walk I fancy some fresh air" I shouted pulling on some washed out blue skinny jeans, a white ripped belly top, my leather black jacket and my black converse, I decided to put some light makeup on of concealer,mascara and eyeliner then pulling my hair out of the bun and letting the loose curls fall naturally

I opened the door walking into the living room to see Kyle sat on the couch he got up noticing my presence and just stud starring at me, He was wearing black converse, some black skinny jeans and a white t- shirt which fit him perfectly showing off lean mussels on his arms and his toned stomach.

Stop daydreaming about his lean hot mussel's woman and answer him !!!!

" I'm sorry what ??"

He chuckled at my response "I said you ready to go ?"

"Oh Yh sorry" I said walking towards to door so he couldn't see my face
He locked to door as I carried on towards the elevator

"So where do you wanna go"

" Don't know I don't know anyway to eat round hear what about you"

"Well I came up here a couple of weeks ago to bring my stuff and there's this cute little diner just round the corner we could go there if you want other than that I don't really no myself" I said looking up at him as we stud outside our apartment building

"Yh lets go there, then tomorrow when we go out we can have a look round more"

"Yh sure" he just nodded in response

"So have you already got a job sorted or do you need to look for one ?" he said whilst we walked to the diner

" I sorted a job out before I moved down its in a bar so I will only work 3 days I didn't want to work full time and the owner wasn't bothered since ill be working behind the bar as well as a waitress but it's Sunday now so I start this Thursday, what about you have you got a job or you gotta go look for one ????

"No I don't have one yet but I don't know what I wanna be so I'm just gonna go out and see what's out there"

"Well you could ask round tomorrow"

"Yh that's a good idea actually see is there's anything part time" he said as we approach the diner

"This is it its not very meal like but it's the only place I know" I said as we walked through the doors the diner was set out in a 1950s theme with big leather booths and old rock music playing it felt like we had just stepped into the set of Greece

"No its fine its seem more chilled in here anyway" we didn't have to wait long until a waitress came over and seated us into a large red booth she was wearing a pink and black polka dot dress that had a poodle skirt bottom and some old fashioned roller blades.

"Who you like to order any drinks" she said politely to me be for I could answer in walked in someone I dread off ever meeting again......... Charlie Brooks
