[Brandon and Tina arrived at the office almost at the same time the next day. As they entered the lobby, they both stopped in their tracks, surprised to see each other.]

Tina: "Brandon?" (she asked, raising an eyebrow.) "You're early today."

Brandon: ( chuckled.)"I could say the same about you. Guess we're both excited to share the news with Mr. Thompson."

Tina: (smiled.) "I barely slept last night. I kept thinking about how well the presentation went in New York. I can't wait to see his reaction!"

Brandon: ( nodded, his face lighting up.) "I know, right? It was like everything clicked. The clients loved it, and our strategy got them hooked. Mr. Thompson's going to be thrilled."

[They walked towards the elevator, exchanging excited glances.]

Tina: "Do you think he knows already?" (she asked, pressing the button.)

Brandon: "Maybe. But I want to see his face when we tell him ourselves," Brandon replied, grinning.

[As the elevator doors opened, they stepped inside. The ride up to the 15th floor felt longer than usual, filled with a mix of nerves and anticipation.]

Tina: "Do you think he'll give us a bonus or something?" (she asked, half-joking, half-hopeful.)

Brandon: ( laughed at her question.) "A bonus would be nice. But honestly, I'd settle for just seeing him smile for once. You know how serious he can be."

Tina: (nodded in agreement.) "True. But I think we've earned it this time. That was the most challenging presentation we've ever done, and we nailed it."

[The elevator dinged, and they stepped out, walking briskly down the hallway to Mr. Thompson's office. They exchanged a quick, reassuring glance before knocking on the door.]

Mr. Thompson: "Come in," (came the deep, familiar voice from inside.)

[Brandon opened the door, and they both stepped in, smiling.]

Tina: "Good morning, Mr. Thompson," (she started, her voice brimming with enthusiasm.) "We have some great news."

Mr. Thompson:  (looked up from his desk, his stern face softening slightly.) "I've heard some rumblings. Tell me, how did the presentation go in New York?"

Brandon: "It was a huge success, sir! The clients loved our ideas, especially the new marketing strategy. They're on board, and they even want to discuss expanding the project scope!" (he exclamation)

[A rare smile spread across Mr. Thompson's face.]

Mr. Thompson: "Is that so? I knew you two had potential, but this exceeds my expectations."

Tina: (chimed in) "Thank you, sir. We worked hard, and it's great to see it paid off. They were really impressed with the pitch."

Mr. Thompson: ( leaned back in his chair, nodding thoughtfully. )"Well, I'm proud of both of you. This kind of success doesn't go unnoticed. I'll see to it that you're both rewarded appropriately. Perhaps a nice bonus is in order."

[Brandon and Tina exchanged a triumphant look. Tina tried to suppress a giggle, but it bubbled out anyway.]

Brandon & Tina: "Thank you, Mr. Thompson!" (they said in unison, their smiles reflecting their excitement.)

Mr. Thompson: "Now, get back to work and keep up the good work. We've got more to accomplish." (he said, though his tone was lighter than usual.)

[As they left his office, Brandon turned to Tina.]
