𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 - 𝟯

Shanaya's POV

" And Shanu, he is the son of Ranvijay, Shivansh Singh Rathore" Dad said

And I again turned my head towards him. He forwarded his hands and introduced himself "Shivansh Singh Rathore, CEO of Rathore Empire"

I can feel his eyes on me. I got a little nervous and stared at his hands for a while then looked in his eyes saying "Shanaya Malhotra, COO of Malhotra Industry"

After what happened in the past I mostly feel uncomfortable with mens except my family. But now I don't know why when I looked in his eyes I didn't feel uncomfortable with him just a bit nervous but none the less I shook his hands and moreover it doesn't look good if I didn't do that in front of dad and uncle.

We all are chit chatting or you can say that dad and uncle are talking and we both are sitting in our own world.
(You know typical indian culture that - Jab bade baat kar rahe ho toh bich main nhi bolna chahiye. Literally here's what I'm feeling.)

"when elders are talking, one should not interrupt them."

But then Dad asked to him " Shivansh how's your current project going? " And I also looked at him.

"Oh Now this is something useful for me, otherwise I was getting bored." I said to myself

"Oh just say that you want to hear his manly voice." My mind mocked me and I just rolled my eyes.

"Okay whatever but it's true that I'm getting bored" I said defending myself.

"Yeah yeah, whatever lets you sleep at night" My said and I just shooed him.

"It's going good uncle, I've completed all the paper works. Now I just have to find a perfect architect for my project" He said calmly.

But damn his voice is really very manly. He said calmly without any expression on his face. I frowned seeing this and thought-

"How can someone keep a straight face for
So long!? Doesn't his face hurt!?
But something else also catches my attention that by hearing him I can say that his project is on something like resort or hotel. He said that he had to find architect that means he's definitely working on something like construction. After finding an architect they'll definitely find someone for interior designer also. And we can also share our ideas and designs with them. I'm sure that they'll like it. Also our company in this field is also strong."

I've decided to talk to dad about this.

Suddenly dad said "Shanu I've some work with Ranvijay. So we are going. You guys can sit here and talk."

"Yes yes, you guys talk. Bye beta see you again" Uncle said while smiling at me.

I too said "ji uncle" while smiling nervously.
