He took us down a hallway and into what looked like a bedroom. "This is where you'll be sleeping it the bedrooms down the hall have jack and jill bathrooms so two of you is going to have to share a bathroom" Leonardo stated closing the curtains making it a bit led light in here.
"You and Giovanni are going to share..." I told Lorenzo. Lorenzo looked at Giovanni "but what if you...." He trailed off I knew what he was trying to say. He didn't want to say it in front of Leonardo "then I'll deal with it myself." I snapped making them back off.
I hate when they do that...
"Okay the doctor told me to give you some ibuprofen and Tylenol and to change your bandage before bedtime and in the morning I'll also need to put this polysporin on it so it doesn't get infected. I'll give you Tylenol every 4-6 hours and ibuprofen every 8 hours" Leonardo told me. Really he was talking to himself but he was also talking to me.
"Ha ha you have to pop some pills" Lorenzo said laying at his own joke..."doesn't matter she's probably used to it" Giovanni added on smirking...
For the record...I'm completely a virgin. I don't take plan B
"I have to give you two Tylenol as well" he said I coked my eyebrow in a mocking way. "Okay boys your bedroom is over here" he spoke walking to the door if the room and pointing the boys followed and looked at where he was pointing.
The nodded and came back to the bed sitting next to me. Leonardo pulled a bottle of ibuprofen and a bottle of Tylenol with a mini cup "your fourteen right?" He asked opening the bottle I guess I took to long to answer because Lorenzo started speaking "She is" I layed down on the bed putting my head on the pillow.
The relief didn't last long because I was given a cup of pink liquid "take the shot" Giovanni mumbled I rolled my eyes and drank the Tylenol he then gave me two little tablet's and a glass of water
I made sure they didn't have any harmful substances in them then I took the tablets and swallowed them down with a cold glass of water. He poured Lorenzo then Giovanni a mini cup of Tylenol. They both took it and sat down on my bed before giving him the mind cup.
I sighed and looked at my now white leg...I was covered in white. My arms had bandages, my thighs had bandages and my torso had bandages...
"Well I'm going to go make dinner you can stay in here and talk" he said leaving the room. Lorenzo put his left arm around me and Giovanni put his right arm around me. I felt warm and safe and not as stressed as I was...I let out a sigh I didn't realize I was holding and close my eyes for a moment.
"So what's the plan to leave" I asked opening my eyes..."theirs not one" Giovanni mumbled "what the hell do you mean theirs not one" I almost yelled Giovanni got up off the bed and looked a me. "Elara...look at yourself! Your covered head to toe in bandages and you can barely walk with our help. We're not going anywhere until your one hundred percent healed" Gio demand.
"Then y'all need to leave" I told them. they both stopped and it felt like the world had stopped turning. the silence was screaming at me while eating me from the inside out. The boys looked at me. Their faces a mix of fear and confusion. "We agreed to always stay to-" "I know bu-" 'We agreed to always stay together..."
Giovanni's eyes narrowed on me as he firmly demanded the last part. "These could be dangerous people...what the hell am I supposed to do if the Don of the Italian Mafia decided he doesn't want us here anymore and kills both of you?" I almost yelled at both of them
They sat back down on the bed "nothing's going to happen to you. Or us chipmunk" Lorenzo mumbles putting his forehead on mine and pulled me into a side hug. I smiled at the nickname.
As far as they know I hate that nickname but, they don't have to know I love it...that can stay between us ;)
"How's your leg feeling?" Giovanni asked "hurts" after I said that the door opened and the younger boy came in "dad said foods done" he said "we're not hungry" Lorenzo stated. The boy nodded and closed the door
I gave a sigh and layed my head back. Giovanni gave Lorenzo a pillow and he put a pillow under my leg for elevation "this will help drain excess fluids in your leg so it doesn't swell as much and feels better" Lorenzo said moving the the pillow so my leg could get situated.
That's what our group is. Giovanni is the teacher he's good with children, he knows how to calm someone down. He also taught me how to read and write when I was seven years old and he was only eight. And Lorenzo is good with medical stuff he knows his was around and can do about any stitch and knows all of that stuff...And me? Well...I've never known how to do anything other than kill...
"I'm going to give your leg about fifteen minutes to drain the fluids then me and Gio are going to help you take a shower" Lorenzo said adjusting my bandages.
I nodded and let out a relaxed sigh. Not because I thought I was safe here. Because I know I'm not. But because I'm safe in this room with these boys. We don't get many nights where it's just us and we get to sit down so I'm glad that we can do this like how we did...even under the circumstances were in right now.
